Having worked several times in Victoria, of course we’ve heard several of them.
G’day Mate is one memory received from one of the crew leaders when I left… It sits here on the windowsill in the veranda, a leather water bag with a cork in—made from ceramic. Water of course is essential to survive in such remote areas.
