Here we are at another day of Aussie Slang, so here we go………
Rip Snorter: Bloody fantastic or great
Road Trains: Large truck with many trailers
Ropeable: Very angry
Root: To have sex
Rooted: Something is stuffed up as in broken, doesn’t work
or to be worn out or exhausted
Dearest Jo-Anne,
Well, those Aussie Road Trains are very special!
I’ve only encountered them here while driving through the State of Michigan.
WOW, what a volume of transport.
Root has a funny meaning… Here they say, I will root for him/her like hoping he/she wins or graduates or whatever.
A booboo is always around the corner when crossing continents 😜
Hugs,
Mariette
Road trains a amazing trucks so long and without them our country would have problems getting freight around parts of this country
Oh sure—with such a VAST country!
