BABIES SAY LOVE

Hello everyone, here we are at Friday and this Friday is the last babies say love post.

Babies say love from the moment they’re born

and nothing can quite take away.

The thrill and the joy

of those beautiful things.

That only a baby

can say

Save A Life

You come to me crying, saying it’s done,
That life is pointless, I shouldn’t have one.

I tell you to stop, I beg and I plead.
You say the knife is your friend, it wants you to bleed.

But everyone here wants you to stay.
I’m crying, I’m shaking, please don’t go away.

Life means so much; you just haven’t found out.
So forget who planted that seed of doubt.

And as your knives and guns disappear,
Still know that I’ll always be here.

I know what it’s like, I’ve been through it all,
So hang on tight, I’m not gonna let you fall.

Reach for my hand, ’cause it’s held out for you.
My shoulders are small, but you can cry on them too.

If you leave, you’ll be missed by many,
Especially me, and I will not forget any

Of the moments we had, laughs we shared,
The times we needed each other when we were scared.

The world wouldn’t be better if you left, but worse,
And so now it’s time for me to reverse this curse.

I’ll teach you how to save a life,
So unlike many, it won’t have to end in strife.

EXTREME CREATURES-GREAT BARRIER REEF

Hello everyone, today is Tuesday and this Tuesday is the first of a new series called Australia’s Extreme Creatures.

Life is tough in the animal kingdom and survival depends on being the best at evading predators and finding food.

These animals have developed some amazing abilities and characteristics in their quest to be the best.

Kicking off with the Great Barrier Reef which is off the east coast of this great country in the state of Queensland. It is the largest coral reef in the world at 2300 kilometres.

A coral reef is like an underwater city, built by tiny living animals called polyps. Many species of plant, fish and other organisms live together on a reef. Just like us humans live with other animals and plants.

FACTS BECAUSE IT’S MONDAY

Hello world, hello Monday the start of another school week and life is good as can be expected. Well it is time for some facts.

The Sun’s warming rays travel through 93 million miles of space to reach Earth. Moving at the speed of light, they make the trip in just eight minutes. A jet airliner would need more than 18 years to complete the same journey.

Jupiter’s moon Io, has the most spectacular scenery in the solar system. Io’s low gravity means that it’s volcanoes can throw boiling rock 50 miles in the air.

The tallest sand dunes found anywhere in the world are inn the Sahara Desert. A single dune has enough sand in it to bury the Eiffel Tower.

There are a thousand times more living things in the sea than there are on land.

A typical lightning bolt is three inches wide and two miles long.

JO-ANNE’S BORING LIFE

Another rough night had to get up after a couple of hours for a couple of hours.

I then had to go to the loo before Leo put me back into bed, I then slept till 4am when I needed to get Tim to help me out of bed in order to pee. I managed to get back into bed but half an hour I needed his help to get up again, as I was shaking terribly from head to toe.

I was so bad I rang Tasha who came and helped.

Having a restless day asking for help a lot, frustrating Tim.

28-8-21

Had a better night, still woke at 4.30am but I had slept well.

Tasha came down and gave me a smoke which helped a lot.

Tim has done a few jobs around the house. Tasha helped him change the rollers on the front sliding door.

Tim has sent off some emails to some Occupational Therapists to try and find one for me.

Mostly a lazy day

29-8-21

Slept in till 5.45am which was a shock to me and Tasha.

There was an incident last night the woman/bitch in unit 14 started having a go at Tim when he was out the front having a smoke. She was yelling and swearing telling him to get inside, he gave her the finger.

She then had a go at Jess and called Leo a retard.

Tasha took me to have my knees Xrayed.

Had a phone call from an occupational therapist she said she will contact my GP and get back to me in a few days.

Been a better day

30-8-21

Up at 5.10am, washed, dressed and ready for the day.

Started a letter but didn’t get very far with it as no concentration

A nice day spent doing nothing.

31-8-21

Had a good night, woke at 3am needing to pee but decided to try and hold on to 5am, however, after what felt like 5 minutes I decided I really needed to go. After I r returned to the bedroom I realised it was 4.30 so I decided to stay up.

Leo hasn’t dawdle getting ready for school since the start of lockdown.

A warm day, I was able to wash and hang sheets on the line, well Tim did.

1-9-21

Had a good night, also had a nice hot shower this morning.

Last night I remember Tim telling me light in the kitchen had gone and he would replace the tube in the morning. However, this meant it was dark when Tasha got my breaky.

Been a warm day, Leo had the day off school as the online learning is getting to him.

2-9-21

I woke at 4am, thought I would give it an hour before getting up. However, my bladder thought different so at 4.15 I got up. I was washed and dressed for the day when Tasha arrived. I am in shorts as supposed to be warm again.

Been a good day managed to write 4 letters.

Ode To Friendships

Friends…
They’re the few people who accept silence over conversation.
A relationship like this denies silly promises and persuasion.
You don’t feel the need to second guess thoughts or measure words.
Their love comes in wholes, not halves, not thirds.
They’re the ones that guide you through when fate takes a turn.
Fights, small and large, end in forgiveness, never a burn.
You forget about first impressions and the feelings they brought.
You’re grateful for who they are and you forgive ’em for what they’re not.

FACTS BORING FACTS

Hello everyone, I hope all are well, me………….well I am alive……….

Here are this weeks facts……….

Until 1965, driving in Sweden was done on the left side of the road. The change over was done on a weekday at 5pm, this was supposed to prevent people from waking up in the morning and forgetting which side of the road to drive on……….I wonder how that went…………

Turtles can live for 100 years

The Cicada, an insect spends 17 years of its life sleeping, it wakes for just two weeks during which it mates and dies.

You are just as likely to die falling out of bed then you are to get struck by lightening each is a 1 in 2,000,000 chance.

You have a 1 in 3,000,000 chance of being killed by a snake.

A DAY LATE AGAIN, OH WELL

Awake and up at 5.45am so a bit of a sleep in, managed to dress myself and get my own breakfast.

At 3am I was getting up to pee and slipped to my knees again. I called out to Tim but he didn’t wake up. I managed to get myself up and standing.

A cool and wet day, well on and off.

Tim pissed off Tasha when he refused to do something and as a result we haven’t seen her all day.

21-8-2]

Another early start, awake and up at 4.45am, suppose to be a warm day.

Not a good day struggle wise.

It has been a very warm day.

22-8-21

Woke at 3am to pee did that without issue but it took me ages to settle down again. However, I did and it was 5.30am by the time I woke up and got dressed ready for the day, I did get a shower this morning as well.

Had to get out my shoulder brace as have a lot of pain in left arm.

Another very warm day so warm that I changed into shorts.

23-8-21

Slept well for most of the night but woke at 4.30 by 4.40 I was shaking a lot from head to toe so got up.

A bloody cold day and wet as well with strong wind.

A stressful day as I feel like I can’t do anything at all.

24-8-21

What a shocking start to bed last night, I was restless and unable to settle, when I finely stated to settle I got a cramp in my right calf and tried to get up but only managed to roll out of bed onto the floor. I ended up in an awkward position which caused me to panic. I was able to tell Google to call Jessica, she was unable to lift me off the floor, however, she got me onto my knees and went to fetch the boys. While she was gone I managed to get on my feet.

I then sat up for a while when Tasha arrived and settled me back into bed I then slept for 6hrs.

Tasha asked to borrow the jump start thing for the car in order to start a neighbours car, for some unknown reason Tim’s reaction was hostile which caused her to react and raised voices and after 10 minutes it was over and sorted out, they parted with a hug, a kiss and I love you.

Having a hard day.

25-8-21

Slept well except at 2am I had to get Tim to help me get out of bed so I could pee then he had to help me get back into bed.

I then had to get his help again at 5am when I got up to start the day.

Not with it today

26-8-21

Up at 4.45 after a rough night, I don’t feel really with it.

Yesterday I was so not with it I forgot to do the grocery shopping, so had to do it this morning. This meant that pick up has to be Sunday as Saturday on had the after 6pm slot and that was too late for Tim.

At 8am my left knee started to sting so I decided to ice it for 20 minutes. While doing this I started to feel extremely tired so I muted the telly and closed my eyes, when I opened them it was 9.50am.

The rest of the day has been so so.

All I Need

When I first saw you,
I saw perfection.

When I got to know you,
I saw pain.

When I started loving you,
I saw strength.

Now…all that I see
Is what means everything to me.

What I see
Is the strength to go on.

What I see
Is the courage to do anything.

What I see
Is the love to be around anyone.

What I see
Is everything I need.
