LEO’S BIRTHDAY HE IS 15 TODAY

Up early this morning 5.05am another cool morning.

Leo liked his gifts, a couple of bracelets I bought of wish for a grandson. Leo is a sensitive and sentimental child.

Saw Sandy she is very emotional at the moment and over Ed’s drinking.

Monday has arrived I had just got up at 5.20 and was walking to the lounge-room to get my walker when I heard the front door open and in comes Leo. He came to get something out of his room, he said he hasn’t been to bed but stayed up all night.

Not too hot thankfully was able to cope with just the doors open and fan on.

Tim off to see the hand doctor hopefully he will find out why he can’t move his thumb. I suspect ligament damage.

Well I was right about Tim’s thumb he may need more surgery he will find out on the 24^th.

Workmen arrived at 9am to do the kitchen roof will take at least all day but it shouldn’t leak anymore.

Another very warm day with me sweating a fair bit.

Got up at 5.20am even though I still felt tired, I was unable to settle so I got up.

Workmen here at 8am they have been in and out all day, tearing down what’s left of the awning out the back. They also did a bit more in the kitchen.

Tim had another appointment with his counsellor he has been approved for 3 more sessions, due to his accident.

Tasha gave me a shower because I stink.

A new day nice and cool but it will get hotter as the day wears on.

Sandy called in and left with a bag of food, she is doing it tough at the moment.

Tim arranged for someone to do the back lawn. Only cost $35 as it was a friend of a neighbour.

Blain asked if I have a gift card he can use to buy a microwave oven which I did he is sick of having to come here to use ours. His mother things they are a waste of money, even though she will come down and use ours at times.

Jess getting me ready for bed tonight she worked all day doing traffic control.

Friday at last, I spent yesterday thinking it was Friday. Found Tim up watching TV but he went back to bed at 6am while I was having breaky.

Had a call from someone about the bathroom, informed the guy the bathroom is done. He then asked about the ramp which isn’t done and said he would be out to have a look.

Every Friday the is an issue with who is getting me ready for bed. Tasha doesn’t do weekends but I said Friday isn’t the weekend. She likes her weekend to start Friday arvo.

Saturday morning and Tim was up before me again, I have a damn headache, which is making me snappy.

Last night Tim said his computer died so he bought himself a new laptop. However, when Micheal came over with Kathy it took him 5 minutes to fix it. He unplugged it and plugged it back in and it works. I had to help him set up the new laptop an exercise in stress as he doesn’t listen and doesn’t read the instructions.

Kathy showered me while Sydney divided up my fruit for the week and Summer vacuumed out.

Here we are at the word of the week and today’s word is “counsellor” not to be confused with councillor and different word with a different meaning.

On this here Tuesday we are taking a look at an assassin, as in the Assassin Spider.

This spider is a highly unusual spider in that it has a neck which is often very long, and a long jaw that it uses to spear other spiders.

They stalk and then stab their spider prey with their jaws which are tipped with venomous fangs.

Technicly they are called Archaeidae, also known as assassin spiders and pelican spiders, is a spider family with about ninety described species in five genera. It contains small spiders, ranging from 2 to 8 millimetres long, that prey exclusively on other spiders

Here we are at another Monday a fine Monday it is but suppose to be another hot one which means I will end up drenched in sweat again. Anyway here are some useless facts.

The most abundant bird on Earth is the Red-billed Quelea, a type of East African weaverbird. There is an estimated 1.5 billion of them in existence.

There is a bird called the Antpitta avis canis Ridgley this bird that looks like a stuffed duck on stilts and barks like a dog. The bird was discovered in the Ecuador in June 1998.

A new day and a new year here’s hoping it is a better year. Another hot day summer is really here,air con on early.

A hot lazy day.

An early start woke at 4am and wasn’t able to settle again so got up at 5am.

Managed to do a bit today which made me feel good, even starting to get on top of all my mail to answer.

Slept well woke at 5.20 to pee and decided to stay up.

Rang Tasha to open a new jar of plum jam which she did without complaint.

Both Tim and I are off to the optometrist,Tasha is driving us in her car as it is easier for me to get in and out of. My eyes are good no problems.

Up and sweating from 5.25am although not that hot at the moment. Although I expect that to change.

The 2023 calendars arrived at last. As well as some birthday gifts.

Received an email about a click and collect I am waiting on they are now shipping it to me from the warehouse, the store must be out of stock.

Sam has been here for a few nights.

Much cooler this morning although I was still dripping sweat as I looked for food for breaky.

Tim is in long pants and shirt, I am in short and tee shirt.

Sandy camel and collected the calendars and while here she washed my Cpap mask. She also straighten all the photos Sam had put on an angle.

I am having a good morning pain and mobility wise so decided not to stand and make breakfast in case it set off the pain. Tasha brought me Maccas.

Tim has been granted his loss of earns claim so will be paid via the driver’s CTP. The claim was back dated to the 1 December.

Leo is still here been here for 3 nights. To me is Leo but when I address him I call him Sam as that is what he wants.

Rained all bloody night thankfully Tim remembered to place the bucket with a towel under it to catch the rain. I found the bucket nearly half full with water.

Kathy coming this afternoon to shave and shower me and get me ready for bed.

No rain during the day.

Hello everyone well to the first word of the week, I am just going to pick a word in the dictionary and tell you what it means this will be a regular Thursday post and yes I know it’s Friday but I forgot yesterday.

Let’s kick with first word in my dictionary which is “aardvark” definition given: African mammal with tubular snout and long tongue.

Good morning, here we are at Tuesday and that means it is creature day and today’s creature is the Gastric Brooding Frog.

The female swallows her eggs and they hatch inside her stomach, than they come out through her mouth.

This frog became extinct in the 1980’s but in 2013 scientists took the first step in bringing this frog back by creating a live embryo…………what the hell
