Good morning

Good morning everyone, I had a good weekend, how about you, didn’t do much at all, read some blogs, wrote some letters and watched some telly.

I am sleeping well, although I often need an afternoon nap but I can handle that if it means I sleep at night and do not have the restlessness, which was horrible. it wasn’t just my legs but my whole body, I couldn’t sit for more then 5 minutes at a time.

Jessica is off work till the end of the year, she is recovering from dental surgery so we will not be having Leo for the last two weeks of school, Natasha will need to get him for the next few days, then it will be up to his mum to get him to and from school.

We have had a number of stinking hot days here in Newie, suppose to be another hot one today.

It’s Monday or is it

It’s Monday here, what day is it there?

It’s going to be a warm 24°c here today, how about there?

I had a good nights sleep, how about you?

I am going to my aqua class, that’s my main form of exercise, what exercise do you do?

Heard on the telly that some woman wants to charge her family $30 each for Christmas lunch, I would be telling her to bugga off, what would you say? Would you pay it?

Not bothered by stuff

I am a blogger, I like to blog, sometimes I write about my family which can of course annoy members of my family, naturally I don’t intentionally write stuff that will upset family members. I guess at times I just don’t think before I write.

Now once a pond a time upsetting family members would upset me but lately I find myself feeling like this is me. I am a kind hearted person who never tries to do or say stuff that will upset others so if it happens others should remember that.

I also feel that I never make anyone read my blogs, it is your choice to read or not. Also if you read and find something that you don’t like, leave me a comment and tell me or don’t guess what I don’t care one way or another.

The older I get the less I am bothered by such things.

Lest we forget

The following are just bits I pinched from the internet.
The phrase “Lest we forget” is commonly used in remembrance services and commemorative occasions in English speaking countries, in particular Remembrance Day and ANZAC Day.
Lest” means something like “in case”. For example, “We should close the door, lest the dog escapes” means, “We should close the door in case the dog escapes [through the open door]”. The phrase “lest we forget” is most often used in ceremonies to commemorate wars, such as Remembrance Day in Canada.
Lest We Forget may refer to: “Lest We Forget (phrase)”, a phrase in the poem “Recessional” by Rudyard Kipling. “Ode of Remembrance”, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
