Week 26 of 2025

I slept for 8hrs and 54mins and I was awake for 36mins, and woke feeling good, although it took me a while to get moving when the alarm went off.

I have had a productive morning did two loads of washing, tossed the sheets into the dryer but hung the clothes on the clothes hoists and took them outside to dry.  Also put the work shirts in the dryer so they shouldn’t be too difficult to iron.

BGL:5.2

Steps:5,758=3.00klms

My watch says I slept for 5hrs and 3mins and I was awake for 8mins, maybe that’s why I don’t feel fully with it. I will have a shower after Tim leaves for work as I am going to the doctors and my hair feels yuck. I also am going to have my blood taken for my six-monthly blood work check.

After the blood was taken, we drove Sam to Tafe and then I went to the doctors for a new referral to see the neurologist that appointment is on the 14 July and is a telehealth appointment. He also said my eye has healed nicely after the fall.

Sue made my appointment with the optometrist that this Saturday at 11am.

Also went and picked up scripts from the chemist.

Tim rang to let me know he will not be home till around 10pm, he is doing emergency rail.

7,351=3.68klms

My watch says I slept for 7hrs and 43mins and I was awake for 7mins, I do feel ok at the moment as in awake and functioning.

No school for Sam today she has an 11am appointment with the hairdresser and Jess can’t see the point of sending her for only a couple of hours.

It is a cold day, and we have had rain around 11am. Around 2pm someone came and repaired the roof so hopefully no more leak.

Sam haircut looks good.

BGL: 5.2

Steps: 4,688 which equals around 2.35klms

My watch says I slept for 8hrs and 20mins and I was awake for 48mins, I am feeling good this morning, have already vacuumed out and tidied the kitchen.

After Sam left for school, I decided to mop the bathroom and kitchen floors, while doing the bathroom my right knee felt like it started to dislocate but then it didn’t, and the knee has been very sore and unstable since.

When I go to meet Sam this afternoon, I am going to use the scooter as it feels like it may give way at any moment.

Just had plumbers arrive to look at the roof, I told them someone was here yesterday he said he would check it out anyway. I was waiting for him to come and tell me if all was good but nope, he just left.

BGL: 5.1

Steps:6,015= 3.11klms

My watch says I slept for 8hrs and 56mins and I was awake for 14mins, I had a shower and let the hot water run over my knee and it has helped with the pain and movement.

Sue and I went to Charlestown Square to meet up with Sandy and she had Denni with her and our niece Samantha was there and her eldest Hayley and our nephew Dawson was also there it was really great seeing everyone. Sue did her grocery shopping and then we left, by the time I got home I was barely able to move.

I put a heat pack on my right knee and sat and rested for a while after an hour or, so I was doing much better and able to walk and move without too much pain.

I still took the scooter up to meet Sam by Monday I am hoping I will be ok.

BGL: 5.2

Steps:5,111=2.56klms

My watch says I slept for 9hrs and 57mins and I was awake for 55mins, my knees yes both of them are painful this morning.

I did a load of washing and hung it up to dry and by the time I was done I was exhausted, and my back ached something shocking. I had to have a rest before doing anything else. I didn’t take the washing outside as it felt like it could rain, and it did end up raining around 1pm.

Thankfully it wasn’t raining when I went to meet Sam.

I am extremely tired this arvo and even though it’s only 6.30pm I am off to bed as I am falling asleep sitting here.

BGL:5.8

Steps: 4,506=2.30klm

My watch says I slept for 10hrs and 41mins and I didn’t wake at all during the night. I am feeling fine this morning and have already vacuumed once and cleaned the kitchen.

Sue took me to have my eyes checked and all is good with them.

It has been a cold day; Tim has been saying he is bored as the yard is too soggy to work on. After a while he found something to do but once he did that he was bored again.

Steps:5,129=2.62klm’s

Week 25 of 2025

I slept straight through the night again 7hrs and 24mins and I was awake for 8mins.

Been a good day, turned out warm and Tim did a lot more work in the back yard and it is starting to look good.

Me well other than getting the clothes of the line, folding and putting them away, I ironed the work shirts and that was a bitch of a job because we soaked them overnight in wash booster stuff, they were extremely wrinkled, and I hadn’t put them in the dryer just hung them out to dry. I won’t make that mistake again. I also vacuumed but that’s all the housework I did.

I spent the rest of the day watching YouTube and reading blogs.

BGL:5.8

Steps: 6,946=3.60

I had a rough start to the night it was around 11pm when I finally settled so only had 4hrs and 54mins of sleep.

Sue drove Sam to Tafe and I went with them as I had a 8.36am doctor’s appointment, I was home by 9.30am.

What an afternoon, at 1.40 I tripped on the mat under my computer chair and fell flat on my face, splitting above my left eye open. I managed to call Tasha who thankfully was home, and she was here in less then a minute. She helped me up and onto the lounge, she cleaned the wound and rang people.

Sue took me at first to my GP then to Belmont Hospital where I was for 4.5hrs. I did not want to go to the hospital, then did a ct scan which was normal. I had a mild concussion and wasn’t with it for around 2.5hrs, by the time I was called into be seen by a doctor I wasn’t doing good as I hadn’t taken my afternoon meds and had an internal tremor as well as an external tremor.

The doctor wanted me to have blood tests and an ECG but I said no there is nothing wrong with my heart and my bloody pressure was normal and I just wanted to come home. Sue got very firm with them telling them we would be leaving and if she had to sign something she would but that wasn’t needed, and we left can came home at 6.45pm.

When I got home, I took my meds and within 15mins I was feeling much better.

BGL:4.6

Steps: 5,194

I was asleep pretty much as soon as I went to bed, I slept for 8hrs 54mins and didn’t wake at all.

This morning, I didn’t want to get up, but I knew I had to in order to get Sam up and see her off to school.

By 7am I was awake and feeling ok and yeah, I have two black eyes and a sore head but I’m doing ok.

Had an okay day didn’t do as much as I would normally do with blogging and housework and by 5pm I am completely exhausted and fighting to stay awake I will be in bed by 6.30pm.

BGL: 4.9

I had a good day but another early night for me as it is 6pm and my eyes are stinging.

BGL:5.2

Steps: 4,633=2.36klm

I was asleep pretty much as soon as I went to bed, I slept for 9hrs 13mins and didn’t wake at all. I am feeling good enough to have a shower this morning.

I’m feeling more like myself today and even vacuumed and washed the towels as well as folding up the clothes and put them away. I cleaned the kitchen twice and ran the dishwasher.

My eye area can be touched without me wincing in pain.

BGL: 5.4

Tim felt so sick this morning he considered calling in sick but ended up going to work anyway.

Sam rang and told me she felt too sick to go to school, so I went up and told Joel when he arrived.

This afternoon Sam was so sick she was vomiting and so unwell that she has come down here for the night, as Jess doesn’t want her home alone tonight.

I am also not feeling well this afternoon.

I had to have a nap as I was so tired.

Jessica came over to check on Sam when she got home from work at 6.10am, Sam was sleeping and didn’t wake up when Jess checked her temperature and covered her with a quilt.

I ordered pizza for lunch, when Sam woke up, she came out looking for food and decided to make herself scrambled eggs.

It has been a warmish day.

Week 24 of 2025

I had another good night’s sleep my watch said I slept for 8hrs 25mins and didn’t wake at all, not as cold this morning 13C but still strong winds.

Kathy came over to drop off Summer’s jeans that need to be taken up.

Tim went to the urgent care doctor this morning and came home in a mood he was prescribed the same drops he already had for his eye just stronger. However, he admitted that he wasn’t using the drops as told to by the optometrist, so he is going to try doing what he was told to do and see how that works out. He was told to use the drops 6 times a day he did a couple of times on only two or three days.

Went to watch the news and no free to air TV this started Tim going off in a right foul mood about it, till while outside having a smoke speaking to a neighbour, he discovered it’s not just us, but others as well have no free to air reception.

BGL:5.8

Steps: 6,700=3.53kms

I had another good night’s sleep my watch said I slept for 9hrs 21mins and didn’t wake at all, another bloody cold morning temp is 5C.

It’s now 9.30am I have vacuumed, ironed shirts, fed the birds and exercised as well as sorted emails read around 25 blog post and now, I am going to put my feet up and watch Youtube for a while.

Tim is really annoyed his sewing machine is playing up and everything he tried failed. Of course, when we told Tasha she got all shitty like we broke it to inconvenience her.

Tasha rang and asked if I had $240 for a new car battery and of course I gave her the money, will I get it back, I doubt so.

BGL:5.9

Steps: 5,601

I didn’t have the best night’s sleep, I just kept waking up, but I were managed to have 6hrs 17mins of sleep so not too bad.

Had a text from Jess letting me know Sam isn’t going to school as she is sick.

Tim rang to tell me he wouldn’t be home as he had another job after his school run. However, he walked in at 9.45am he brought the bus home as there was nowhere to park at the place in Cardiff where he dropped off the people. He went back to pick them up at 1.30pm.

Jess came over when she placed an online order with Kmart, she thought there was a problem with the order but after looking at it again she realised it was right.

This afternoon Jess rang and asked if I could take Sam to a hairdresser tomorrow to find out how much it would cost to have her hair cut the way she wants it. I said tomorrow I have an appointment with the podiatrist then me and Sue are going to Kmart. I suggested we do it Thursday morning and both Jess and Sam were ok with that, so I asked Sue if it would be ok with her, and she said it would b.

BGL:5.5

Steps: 6,758=3.54Kms

I slept straight through the night again 9hrs and 6mins and I was awake for 33mins.

Sue and I went to the podiatrist then to Kmart so she could buy a stream mop then home. We laughed so much spending time with Sue is good for my mental health.

The skip bin that was supposed to be delivered tomorrow was dropped off this morning, by the time I went to wait for Sam this afternoon it was over full. Tim and Tasha are pissed off and so am I the bin was only a small one, nowhere big enough for 16 units.

Well even though the skip was full Tim decided he was taking the clear roof panels I cannot think what they are called anyway he took them up. Tasha took up a few things and left them near the skip.

BGL:5.5

Steps: 5,564=2.88kms

When I went with Sam to the hairdressers, she now has an appointment next Friday at 9.30.

Tim got a charter for this arvo, he should be home around 7.30pm.

Tim rang me and let me know he will be late home as his job changed.

Steps:4,519=2.31kms

BGL:5.5

I slept straight through the night again 9hrs and 41mins and I was awake for 46mins.

I have no idea what time Tim got home last night. I went in a 5.10 and asked if he needed to get up, he said no, so I will not get dressed till either after he gets up or 7.30 whichever comes first.

Noticed when I got up that Blain had bought himself a car, it’s a 2007 Mazda cost him $4,200.

Kathy came over to pick up Summer’s jeans and she went and had a chat to Tasha while she was here.

I was in the laundry looking for a container for a packet of biscuits I was opening and knocked the salt container, causing it to fall and hit my foot and yeah it hurt a lot, also cracked the container, so tossed that and transferred the salt into another container.

I had a phone call from Housing about our rebate application she wanted to know what my income was. She had a bit of a problem getting her head around the fact that I have none. She asked a few times did I not get a Centrelink payment, and did I have something from Centrelink saying I didn’t receive a payment. No, I don’t I have nothing to do with Centrelink. She ended up saying she would see what she could do.

BGL: 5.2

Steps: 6,967=3.60kms

I slept straight through the night again 9hrs and 4mins and I was awake for 41mins.

Didn’t go anywhere or do much today just didn’t feel like doing anything.

Well, I did a load of washing and hung it up to dry, also ran the dishwasher and unpacked it when finished and I vacuumed but that’s all.

I thought Tim was going to get pizza for lunch, but he decided he wasn’t hungry. So, I asked Tasha if she would go to Macca’s for me and she did.

I had another good night’s sleep slept for 6hrs 52-mins and didn’t wake at all. It is cold this morning at 10C.

Tim and I went shopping, and by the time we got home I was exhausted with my legs aching.

Tim bought himself a tablet so expect him to need my help to set it up.

Around 5pm I started to feel unwell, with a headache and a tight feeling in my chest and I am very tired.  The tight chest feeling has passed but I still have a headache and just feel kind yuck.

After Sam left, I decided to make myself a croissant it is a bake at home one after having that and emptying the kitchen bin I took 2 more headache tablets and started to feel more energic, the headache eased of a lot.

After a while the headache went away but it has come back, as it has gotten colder.

I had another good night’s sleep slept for 8hrs 54-mins and was awake for 41min. It is cold this morning at 9C.

Jane told me this morning we only get one kerb side collection per year, and we have already had it. This is because when unit 16 placed a heap of rubbish near the letter boxes and someone reported it, and the council came and removed it so now we have to wait another 6 months. I am not happy.

Also, Tim rang about our rent subsidy application and was told it wasn’t in our file, they lost it, so we had to resubmit it via email. That should have been easy, but no the email kept bouncing back, I told Tim I would try from my Gmail account, and I think it went, well it didn’t bounce back. He will ring in a couple of days and see what they have to say about it.

Went with Sue her doctor’s appointment, then we went to the square so I could get muffins from Muffin Break as they are my favourite muffins. Sue bought me a ham & cheese pretzel which I had half of for lunch.

Jessica cane over around 1pm and I gave her the birthday present I bought her; she liked the tops and the bag.

After Tim got home, she came over and he gave her the present he bought her, a locked box for a spare house key or whatever she wants to use it for.

What a morning, Tim helped Tasha return the not working TV to Big W at Lake Fair Shopping Centre, they exchanged it without issue. But Tim was in a mood about having his plans not go as he wanted. After helping Tasha, he came and picked me up and we went back over to Lake Fair so I could do a little shopping.

It has turned out to a warmish day although this afternoon it has become very windy, and the wind is cold, so I had to shut the doors as I was freezing.

It has rained on and off all day.

Steps:6,728=3.9km’s

I slept for 7hrs and 32mins and was awake for only 7mins according to my watch.

It is a cold day but mostly a dry day.

This afternoon I am feeling sad and don’t know why, I feel life is so damn hard right now.

I am feeling extremely tired this arvo.

Steps:7712=4.5km’s

I slept for 11hrs and 10-mins and was awake for 29-mins during the night. In fact, I was in bed by 6.35 and pretty much fell straight asleep and slept straight through the night.

I am coughing and sneezing a lot this morning and suddenly around 6.45 started to feel really cold. The temp was 15C

By midday it had warmed up to 22C and I had to take my long sleeve singlet.

BGL: 7.0

I slept well, I did wake a couple of times to pee but straight back to sleep. I slept for 6hrs and 59mins and was awake for 24mins during the night.

I started to ride the scooter up to wait with Sam for her transport to arrive but while I was stopped out the front of Jess’s it started to rain so I came back and swapped to the walker. I was waiting for Sam to join me and had my back against the letter boxes, well Sam came up behind me and when she touched my shoulders I screamed. I was recording a text for Sue and had to assure her I was ok due to the screaming.

After I got back it started to piss down raining and rained most of the day.

I mopped the laundry, kitchen and bathroom floors. I also changed the sheets.

Sue went to have her tyre looked at and while she was at the tyre place the road out the front flooded, one small red car was nearly covered in water. To leave she had to drive down the footpath, but she managed it.

Week 15 of 2025

I had another good night sleeping straight through although I woke with a runny nose and have a headache again. Also, up earlier than normal as the clocks changed and I was awake, only 20-minutes earlier so that’s ok.

The bird Tim was fussing over last night died this morning which is sad.

It is another hot day, and I am having a rough arvo, my left hearing aid keeps falling out which is annoying.

7,129

I slept well in fact at 4am I was getting up as I thought it was 5am, although when I realised my mistake, I got back into bed for another hour.

Tim home for a couple of hours, he got a stern talking to about an accident he had a work a week ago, damaged the bus and something on the street. He still has his job though; he was sure he would get the sack over it.

I have had another bad afternoon with the uncontrollable movement of my body. Did a video and shared it on Facebook so others can see what I have to cope with some days.

I turned the air con on around 1.15pm for a few hours as I was hot and didn’t want to deal with the heat.

Steps: 7,899

I woke up with a headache which is annoying it is a nice cool morning. I used a small, long-life milk to make my porridge this morning.

This morning Sam was picked up by a different driver in a different van, not sure if Joel is off sick or what.

I have felt ok for most of the day did the usual housework.

Sue rang she had a phone call from the hearing aid people who told her my appointment is for 12.30 tomorrow, I don’t know why I would make it for that time I don’t like appointments after midday. Sue managed to change the time till 8.45 instead.

This afternoon I am aching all over and feel extremely tired, I will be in bed by 7.30pm.

Steps:8,692

I woke up tired and my legs will not stop moving making it difficult to stand.

Sue and I went to the hearing aid place, me to have a check I all was good with my hearing aids. Sue had her hearing checked and yes, she needs hearing aids and thankfully she doesn’t need to pay as she is on a pension.

The difficulty with my legs went away by 9am.

After the hearing place we went to Coles so I could get a few things.

By 3pm I was extremely tied again, so tied I found concentrating on stuff almost impossible. I will be having another very early night.

Steps:7,399

I slept all night, and I am doing pretty good this morning, I am going to try and have an hour nap each day from midday to 1pm and see if that helps prevent the extreme tiredness I am feeling of an arvo.

I did have an hour nap, and it did help I am still very tired but not as bad as the last few days.

I did manage to write a few letters today.

The nap has helped I am tried this evening but not so much that I am falling asleep at 6pm.

Steps:6,988

I slept all night, and I am doing pretty good this morning, I had to wait till after Tim left for work to have a shower.

Received a wonderful text message from Sandy last night played it this morning and got all chocked up.

I had to ring Sue this morning as she wasn’t replying to my messages, she phone had restrictions on it as she hadn’t paid her bill yet. She went and spoke to someone about it, telling them she will pay it on the 17th but really needed to be able to receive messages as she was my carer, so they removed the restrictions.

We then went to her doctor’s appointment she has to see someone about her eyes as she needs three health professionals in order to get a care plan.

After that we went to the cemetery, Sue liked what I wrote and left on the headstone. She said I should send a copy of it to the other siblings.

Steps: 6,668

IT’S BEEN 4YRS TODAY SINCE MUM PASSED

I slept all night; I woke at 5.12am wondering where my phone was as it wasn’t next to the bed. I had left t in the lounge-room last night.

Tim and I went over to Lake Fair, I did some shopping while

Tim cashed in some bottles.

It has been a warm day, Tim did some more work in the back

yard and has started thinking about stuff he wants to do out

the front.

Steps:5,339

Week 14 of 2025

I slept straight through the night again waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

Tim has a long day ahead of him it will around midnight before he gets home.

I slept all night, there is no rain this morning, just nice and cool at the moment. The temp is 20C with a top of 22C expected.

It turned out to be a warm day, I went and did some shopping at Woolies, cost me $62.

We have had showers on and off all day.

Tim wet up my new smart watch so we will see how that compares with the pedometer I wear on my waist band.

Steps:9,105 pedometer over 13hrs

 3,877 watch over 4hrs

I slept straight through the night again waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

Had to wake Jess to wake Sam whose phone was going straight to voicemail.

Around 2pm Sam rang to see if I could get Sue to pick her up from Charlestown and bring her home, so I did, and she did after some rigmarole trying to explain where she would be picked up from.

It turned out to be a warm day. I am wearing the new smart watch Tim bought me, it counts my steps better less guessing on my part.

Steps 6,669

DAWSON’S BIRTHDAY HE IS 26 TODAY

I slept straight through the night again waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

Tim said he has been awake since either 1am or 3am I don’t remember what he said.

Sue took me to the podiatrist; all is good with my feet. Sue asked her opinion about Sue’s ingrown toenail on her big toe. She was so concerned that when telling Sue cost to have it removed would be $100 and Sue said she didn’t have the money right now so it would have to wait. She said she would do it for a reduced fee while Sue was there. She ended up treating both big toes for only $20.

I told Sue needs to see her GP about getting a care plan, so she doesn’t have to pay to see the podiatrist. Sue made an appointment for Friday 11 at 9am.

Steps:8,088

I slept straight through the night again waking only once to pee. I am very restless this morning.

I went with Sue while she had her mammogram, on our way home we called in and saw Dave at work.

I wore the new dress I got from Millers that I didn’t order or pay for, it looked nice on.

I am having a bad with my body moving so much, by 4pm I was so exhausted and worn out.

Didn’t do much today

Steps:5,845

I slept straight through the night again waking only once to pee. I am having a better morning then yesterday.

My left arm is very sore this morning I should have got Tim to help me put the shoulder brace on.

I have had a better day then yesterday haven’t done much as my motivation is here and there.

It got as high as 27C, and I had to change into shorts.

Steps: 7,673

I had another good night sleeping straight through although I have woken with a headache, I did remember to get Tim to put my shoulder brace on before he left for work.

It has been another warm day, thankfully I have been good with my body shaking very little till around 1pm when it increased.

I was having a water ice block when it went down wrong causing me to have a bad coughing fit, how annoying.

Steps:6,529

I had another good night sleeping straight through although I woke with a runny nose and have a headache.

I had a nice hot shower.

It has been another warm day; Tim is off this weekend. Temp reached 27C but didn’t turn the air con on.

This evening Tim has had too much to drink and is annoying a baby bird, he keeps picking it up and it has been squawking in distress and I keep telling him to leave it alone. If he was sober, he wouldn’t be doing it.

Week 13 of 2025

I slept straight through the night again, waking with the alarm, it is cool and wet this morning.

I have bugga all motivation this morning. I am also aching all over.

It has been raining on and off all morning.

It stopped raining around 2pm and Tim decided to go and sit outside for a while it was around 4pm when he came back inside.

I didn’t exercise at all today.

Steps: 2,068

I was woken at around 2.50am by Sam she was in a state, she had vomited and wasn’t able to sleep. I felt she was having a panic attack and was over tired. She was also on the phone with her mum. I held her and talked to her and calmed her down. At around 4.10 she fell asleep on Tim’s chair and around 4.30 I went back to bed for half an hour. She still wants to go to Tafe but us adults think she should have the day off.

Sam slept till 11.45am and when she awoke, she was feeling fine and admitted I was right and all she needed was sleep. She was fine with missing Tafe.

It has rained on and off all day.

I received a parcel this morning and when I opened it, I found a green dress with 3/4 length sleeves from Miller’s. I do not remember ordering it and I don’t wear clothes with sleeves very often. When I checked I have no record of buying this dress but it’s my size.

Steps:6,584

I had another good night, wasn’t sure what to wear when I got up shorts or longer pants.

Looks like I am going to have to put some of the clothes in the dryer as they are still damp. Only had to toss four pairs of pants in the dryer.

Sue took me to get my new hearing aids, and they are great.

My body is moving a lot this afternoon and due to the humidity, I am drenched in sweat.

Steps:10,686

I slept well, it is lovely this morning neither hot nor cold I like it when it’s like this.

By 10am it was hot and muggy again.

I had to ring the podiatrist and check when my appointment is, it’s tomorrow at 9am.

Sandy has paid me back all the money I lent her.

Steps:5,513

I slept straight through the night waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

I was supposed to see podiatrist this morning but silly me forgot to tell Sue and was left without a ride so had to reschedule to the 1 April.

This afternoon I was suffering a lot of back pain and realised after I got comfortable in my recliner that I didn’t top up my drink, so I sent Sam a text and she came straight down and did it for me.

Steps: 6,253

I slept straight through the night again waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

Tim has a long day ahead of him it will around midnight before he gets home.

It is a cool day for me I had to shut the front door for a little while.

I walked down and posted my letters.

At 19.35 or if that time confuses you 7.35pm last night I received a parcel delivery, I was surprised who delivers after dark. I was struggling to get out of my chair and thankfully the delivery man saw my struggle and opened the door and handed it to me.

I will leave the TV and Foxtel on when I go to bed and see if it stays on so Tim doesn’t struggle to figure out how to turn it on

Steps: 5,930

I slept straight through the night again waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

Tim has a long day ahead of him it will around midnight before he gets home.

I woke to the sound of rain at 4.35 when I got up to pee, I decided I would have a sleep in so when the alarm went at 5am I turned it off and stayed in bed for what I thought would be half an hour but turned out to be only 10 minutes.

It has rained most of the day, Kathy rang just as Sam & Bailey arrived so she said she would ring back after lunch, but when she did, I was eating lunch, so I rang her back when I was finished. We chatted for around 15-minutes.

Tim was late home he didn’t arrived to around 7pm.

Week 12 of 2025

I had a damn good night slept straight through; it is warm at 6am so yeah, it’s going to be hot again.

I had to turn the air con on, I had a headache from the heat.

I decided to order pizza and get it delivered, haven’t done that in years but I walked in the kitchen couldn’t find anything for lunch, we have no bread, so decided on pizza.

It has been stinking hot all day out the back in the sunlight it was 48C at 1pm. It has finally sunk into Tim that often the temperature stated on apps and telly isn’t taken in the sunlight but in shade and there is often a big difference.

I had a damn good night slept straight through; it is much cooler this morning and there is a strong wind.

Tim had to come home from work he failed the breathalyser, he was just over, so he is now off for the day. I wasn’t surprised as he did drink a lot yesterday and he didn’t eat much all day.

This afternoon Tim booked our next cruise it will be next April as in April 2026. It is an Australian cruise going to Tassie. Jess and Tasha are coming with us. I wish Sue could come with us.

I am really tied and feel sad this afternoon.

I had another good night slept straight through again. A cool day and a productive morning doing housework.

It warmed up during the day but wasn’t hot.

After I had my wash, I did my makeup in the bedroom as Tim wanted to use the bathroom. I have decided I will do that in future as it will be easier than having to rush.

When I was getting the clothes out of the washing machine, I found one of Sam’s rings that was missing.

This afternoon I have felt tired and sad why I am sad I do not know.

I had to make a Dr’s appointment as I need a script, it’s Friday morning at 8.48am.

Steps: 7,949

I had another good night slept straight through again. A cool day but it is supposed to warm up.

Sue came over to ask for a roll of toilet paper, I gave her two rolls, also gave her the last couple of bottles of vodka cruisers. She drove me down to get a loaf of bread.

While waiting for Sam this arvo I started to feel like shit, extremely tired, slight headache and nauseas.

I felt unwell I went to bed at 7.15pm but woke at 9.30 and was unable to settle again, so 10pm I got and used the powerfit for 20minutes, after I finish this, I’m going back to bed.

Steps:10,399

I am feeling much better this morning and after I went back to bed I slept through the night. Tim only has his school runs today so will be home between 10am and 1.30pm.

It is 19C this morning but should reach 29C by 1pm, my BGL was 5.5

At around 11.15am I started to feel really tired again.

I turned the air con at 1.30pm.

I have zero motivation this afternoon but at least I don’t feel sick.

Steps:5,226

I had a good night; I am waiting for Tim to leave before I have a shower and get ready for the day.

It is currently 18C and we are looking at a top of 28C.

Sue drove me to the doctors all I needed was a script, I also went to Woolies for a couple of things.

It started to rain around 11am but thankfully stopped when I went up to wait for Sam.

Tasha came down looking for bolts in Tim’s shed she couldn’t find what she needed so she will be off to Bunnings tomorrow. Tim said he also needs to go to Bunnings.

Steps: 2,652

I had a good night; I sleeping straight through till the alarm went off.

I have a lot of lower back pain this morning and feel very tired, I started to fall asleep while waiting for Kathy to all and she rang at 10am.

After a slow start I picked up and managed to write a couple of letters and write up Monday’s and Tuesday’s blog posts.

Tim bought Macca’s for lunch what I wanted was right, but he wanted a Big Mac and that’s not what he got. He said he was going to ring and abuse them, I told him to ring and calmly say he got the wrong order, he did as I suggested and as we live close by, he went back, and they replaced the order without issue.

Tim also finally helped Tasha put a cupboard on her bedroom wall.

Week 11 of 2025

I was up at 5am as per usual after a shower I was ready for the day even though I only had maybe 3hrs sleep last night.

Kathy and family called in so we could give Summer her birthday present, it was a crochet kit to make a turtle and a kangaroo, she loved it.

It started raining around midday and rained on and off for the rest of the afternoon.

By 2pm I was feeling oh so very tired. I did manager to stay awake till 8.30pm.

Steps:11,640

I slept well, didn’t wake till the alarm went off at 5am.

Sue took me to Woolies so I could get a few things.

Jess had me go over and help her prepare a casserole in her slow cooker, even though I had written out instructions for her. After it was done, she had Sam bring me a small bowl of it, I thought it tasted just fine.

It has been decided that Tim and I along with Tasha & Jess are going on a cruise in November, so I spent a couple of hours this afternoon finding a cruise and getting prices.

Steps: 5,699

I slept well, didn’t wake till the alarm went off at 5am. Although I went to bed at 8.30pm, woke at 10.30 and got up for an hour on returning to bed I went straight off to sleep.

It is a sticky morning, and I don’t like it.

Tim came home as his sporty was cancelled and while he was here, he had the front sliding door opened even though while I was in my armchair I was cold due to the breeze I said nothing. I did close the door when he went outside, and he opened it again when he came inside.

Steps: 5,380

I slept well, didn’t wake till the alarm went off at 5am. It is raining this morning and suppose to rain most of the day.

It started out cool but warmed up by 11am.

Well, it didn’t rain all day thankfully and this afternoon before I went to meet Sam I vacuumed out and mopped the kitchen and bathroom floors, I also folded the laundry these jobs took half an hour and left me feeling like shit. I was so unsteady I decided to take the scooter up to wait for Sam instead of walking.

Steps:5,667

I slept well, didn’t wake till the alarm went off at 5am. I have to wait till after Tim leaves to have a shower, it is going to be another warm day.

I turned the air con on at 1pm as I was sweating so much. Although when I walked outside it didn’t seem that hot.

Sam told me this afternoon that she is going away for the weekend with Bailey and his family, I hope she has a good time. I asked Sam if Bailey’s parents knew he was gay, she said he isn’t gay because he nonbinary. I said nothing but thought well yeah, he is gay as you are both male.

Tim decided it was time to again state to me how much he despises referring to Sam as she, I told him again I get it, but it is better than alienating Sam he said that he tries to just refer to use Sam’s name which is what I told him to do.

Steps: 6,227

KELLI’S BIRTHDAY SHE IS 31 TODAY

I slept well, didn’t wake till the alarm went off at 5am. We are in for another bloody hot day with a temp of 32C

I turned the air con on at midday and turned it off at 5pm.

Sam has gone away for the weekend with her friend Bailey and Bailey’s family.

Blain came down and asked if needed can he hang out here on Sunday as he doesn’t want to be alone in the house with Benny who still hasn’t left. Blain told his mum if Benny isn’t gone by the end of the month him and Ta’lia will be moving out.

Steps:10,621

I had a decent enough night, there is a lovely breeze through the house, but we are in for another bloody hot day.

Tim and I went over to Lake Fair, and he bought a couple of pairs of trousers. I got some photo frames then I went to Woolies for a few things.

Tim is working this arvo and night he said he should be home between 11.30 and Midnight.

It has been very hot today so hot I started to feel unwell and turned the air con in the bedroom on to help cool that part of the house down.
