Week 22 of 2025

A cold start to the day I was up at 4.45am, I had a shower and dressed, I have been so cold all morning had the heater on a beanie on my head which helped with the headache.

My watch says I got only 5hrs & 9mins sleep.

My left wrist has a sore spot with broken skin, I applied some antiseptic cream and covered it with a band aid, so I am wearing my watch on my right wrist.

I tossed a load of washing in the machine, I am planning to hang it up to dry.

Jessica asked if we could go to Costco and get her a cheese pizza and take it into her at work, and we did. Tim also filled the car with petrol while out there.

We also went to Coles and then checked the P O Box, there was 11 letters, 5 for Tasha, 2 for Tasha 1 for Tim and the rest for me.

Another cold morning, I slept for 6hrs & 13mins but woke up tired and not quite with it.

Sue and I went into the Tafe to have aromatherapy massage done by Tasha and wow what a great massage it was better then the one we had a couple of months back which cost us $90 each. This massage didn’t cost us anything, and we both didn’t realise how good Tasha was at massage. I felt so relaxed that I fell asleep.

This arvo I had an issue with my BGL dropping it went from 4.7 to 3.3 in 20 mins and I had to ring Tasha as I wasn’t with it. She came gave me a teaspoon of honey and made me eat something. Tim wasn’t here he was late home from work due to being caught in traffic due to a road closure.

Steps: 4,103=2.15Klm’s

BGL: 7.0

I woke to the sound of rain again; I hope it doesn’t hang around for long not as cold this morning. I had a good 9hrs & 34mins sleep and didn’t wake at all during the night.

I went with Sue to an appointment, and we also went to the post office to get stamps.

Tim keeps going on about how much weight he has lost, and I ended up telling him that going on about it is upsetting me since I have gained some weight. He did acknowledge that part of the cause is that he goes days with only eating very little. I can not do that as if I go too long without food, I start to feel sick in the gut and get a headache.

It was very overcast when I went up with Sam to wait for transport, I started to take the scooter but felt a few heavy drops of rain, so switched to the walker and of course it didn’t rain and hasn’t rained all day.

BGL: 7.00

Steps: 10,027=5.22Km’s

I slept reasonably well had 5hrs & 20-mins sleep with 20-mis awake time.

Tim only had his school runs today which saw him home for 4hbrs, so went out to the Eastern Tiger, all you can eat place.

Just as we arrived home Sandra called in to say high, Sue texted Sandy and asked if she would drop off some ginger beer, I had for her, and she reluctantly agreed. Not long after that Sue turned up to get it as she thought Sandy wasn’t going to do it.

While Sue was here, I helped her set up her new email account.

BGL:7.0

Steps:8,969=4.8Klm’s

I had another good night’s sleep slept for 6hrs 15-mins, not too cold at the moment. The temp is 13C or 55F

What a day, I was feel sad and like crying due to the frustration of my body moving so much. I said so in a text to Sue who decided to come over to see me and she brought Archi with her, so I was able to have a cuddle. She also brought me the latest limited custard pie from Macca’s this on is a mixture of chocolate and normal custard and was quite nice.

Tasha also bought me a 4pack of mini custard scrolls and when Tim came home this morning, he brought me a sausage roll.

Anyway, he made a smart-ass comment that no one brings him food and that he has to go and buy his own. Sue told me that was right as he is more able bodied and can drive so can get his own stuff.

BGL: 5.8

Steps: 10,207=5.7Klm’s

I had another good night’s sleep slept for 8hrs 35-mins and was only awake for 14-mins. It is cold this morning at 10C and I have the heater going.

I put on the new panty hose they fit but not good around the crotch area just not sitting flush against my body. Had them on till around 1.30pm.

I was ironing when I heard Tasha she was printing stuff and said I was low on ink again so I ordered more.

Tim late home tonight, it was close to 8pm when he arrived home had another run after his school run.

I changed the sheets and damn that left me exhausted.

BGL: 5.8

Steps:9,058

I had another good night’s sleep slept for 8hrs 6-mins and didn’t wake at all. It is cold this morning at 10C.

We left home at 9am to go to Sydney to see Tim’s sister Jenny, it took us 3hrs & 15mins to get there and 2hrs & 20mind to get home.

The visit went well, it was the first time Tim had seen her in 13yrs.

I was exhausted by the time I got home, I thought I would eat something and go to bed but after I ate, I was ok sitting in my recliner playing games on my tablet and watching the evening news.

Week 21 of 2025

I slept well once I settled was a little restless when I first went to bed but managed to have 6hrs and 11mins of sleep and didn’t wake at all during the night.

It has been raining since I got up, so the washing is in the dryer, as it is supposed to rain most of tomorrow as well.

It did stop raining around 11ish and was fine till around 6pm.

Blain came down to get the laminator and was here for a while just chatting to me about his life and such, I like it that he has been doing that lately.

Steps: 6,777=3.49Km’s

BGL: 5.5

I had another good night slept for 7hrs and 24 mins and was awake for only 15 mins.

It is raining again and it’s cold as well.

Sam not going to Tafe today as Sue was supposed to drive her, but Sue cannot drive in heavy rain and Jess is far too tired to drive. Thankfully Sam understood and wasn’t too bothered by it.

Tim rang just after 9am to let me know he will not be home this morning as he has emergency rail work.

It has been cold and wet all day.

BGL: 5.8

Steps: 7,037=4.1Km’s

I had another good night slept for 6hrs and 41mins and was awake for only 9mins during the night.

It has been fine this morning and not that cold.

It started to rain around 2pm, when I walked up to meet Sam it wasn’t raining but just before she turned up it started to piss down, I put my raincoat on.

Jess started to drive up to meet us and insisted I get in the car, and she drove me back to my front door which isn’t very far at all. Sam walked back down with the walker.

Jess rang around 7pm she was heading into work as the woman who was supposed to be there was in a car accident and they needed someone to replace her.

BGL 5.8

Steps:8,444=4.5Klms

Another good night with 8hrs of sleep and was awake for 14mins.

I had a shower after Tim left for work and now, I am waiting for Jess to get home so I can put a load of washing on, just in case she brings down the work shirt she wore last night.

Tossed the clothes in the dryer due to how much it is raining.

It has rained on and off all day but not that cold thankfully.

Tim made me a pizza which was ok not great he added garlic which I wasn’t keen on but it was edible.

It is 7pm and I am feeling worn-out and very tired.

BGL: 5.9

Steps: 6,424=3.29Km’s

I slept well again got 9hrs and 9mins of sleep and was awake for 9mins. It is still raining.

Been raining on and off all day discovered we have a leak in the roof at the kitchen doorway not a bad leak just more annoying at the moment. I have lodge a report with housing.

I am aching all over today and feel worn out by the afternoon.

Tim said he was going to ring maintenance and talk to someone about the leak, I don’t see the point.

Steps: 6,901=3.57Klm’s

Another good night although my phone said I only got 6hrs 39mins of sleep. Still raining, I woke feeling sick in the gut, but I felt better after breakfast.

A wet morning but a mostly dry afternoon.

Tim home early from work, he is working tomorrow signing on at 1.30am and signing off at 3.30pm.

Saw on Facebook that the SES has said Sandy’s house is structurally unsafe due to the rain, she doesn’t know what is going to happen.

Russia

Good morning, everyone, this week’s country is Russia, now this is a country I am pretty sure every man and his dog has heard of. It is after all one of the major countries in the world.

It has a long history, and this may be a three-post country because of that. It was founded way back around the year 862.

The capital is Moscow, and the population is around 144 million.

Russia, the largest country in the world, occupies one-tenth of all the land on Earth. It spans 11 time zones across two continents (Europe and Asia) and has coasts on three oceans (the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic).

The Russian landscape varies from desert to frozen coastline, tall mountains to giant marshes. Much of Russia is made up of rolling, treeless plains called steppes. Siberia, which occupies three-quarters of Russia, is dominated by sprawling pine forests called taigas.

Russia has about 100,000 rivers, including some of the longest and most powerful in the world. It also has many lakes, including Europe’s two largest: Ladoga and Onega. Lake Baikal in Siberia contains more water than any other lake on Earth.

Russia is part of two continents, Europe and Asia and of course the language is Russian.

The currency is the Russian ruble, issued by The Central Bank of the Russian Federation, notes are issued in denominations ranging from 5 to 5,000 rubles. The obverse of the banknotes is adorned with images of structures and monuments, including a bridge over the Yenisey River in Krasnoyarsk, the Bolshoi Theatre building in Moscow, a monument to Peter the Great in Arkhangelsk pictured in front of a sailing vessel. Coins are denominated in values from 1 to 50 kopecks, and there are also coins ranging in value from 1 to 25 rubles.

The flag is a tricolour with three equal horizontal bands of white, blue, and red. The white stripe symbolizes nobility and honesty, the blue stripe represents love and loyalty, and the red stripe signifies courage and love. This flag was first adopted in 1696 as an ensign for merchant ships under the Tsardom of Russia.

The symbolism of the flag is this.

White: Represents nobility and honesty.

Blue: Represents love, loyalty, and faith.

Red: Symbolizes courage, love, and sacrifice.

The flag was first adopted in 1696 as an ensign for merchant ships under the Tsardom of Russia. It was later adopted as the national flag in 1993.

Religion plays a prominent role in the public and spiritual life of today’s Russia. The majority of believers belong to the Orthodox Christian denomination. Russia adopted Christianity under Prince Vladimir of Kiev in 988, in a ceremony patterned on Byzantine rites.

The constitution recognises the right to freedom of conscience and creed, but it also acknowledges the special role of the Russian Orthodox Church in the country’s history and culture. While the Russian Orthodox Church is the largest religious denomination in Russia, it does not have the status of an official state religion. The law recognizes Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism as “traditional” religions in the country.

In theory, Russian women have equal rights with men as guaranteed by the Constitution. However, in practice, significant inequalities persist, particularly in the workplace and in areas like domestic violence and reproductive rights. While the constitution mandates equality, women face discrimination and societal expectations that prioritize motherhood over professional development.

While domestic violence is illegal, many forms were decriminalized in 2017, and support groups for victims have been labelled as “foreign agents”.

There are ongoing efforts to limit abortion access and potentially introduce mandatory counselling and husband’s consent for abortions.

Women in Russia have been able to vote since either 1917 or 1918 depending on site you look it up on.

Well tha’s enough for this post more next week.

Week 20 of 2025

I had another good night slept all night waking only once to pee at 1am.

Kathy rang me this morning to wish me a happy Mother’s Day.

It is raining this morning; it has rained all day and has been a cold day.

I have felt sad a lot of the day, Jess brought over more Mother’s Day gifts for me, shop bought slippers and a crochet bag for my feet and lower legs.

Steps:6070= 3.4km’s

I slept for 9hrs & 10mins according to my watch and was awake for only 8mins during the night.

BGL:6.5

Jess came over to drop her work shirts for me to wash, she said she was very tired and just wanted to go to bed but she has to drive Sam to Tafe.

Sue rang around 9.30 to let me know her glasses are in and ask if I would like to go with her to pick them up, so I did.

It has rained on and off all day.

Steps:6,728=3.9km’s

I slept for 7hrs and 32mins and was awake for only 7mins according to my watch.

I did a load of washing and hung it out.

I forgot that Sam wasn’t going to school today as it is the sports carnival.

It is a cold day but mostly a dry day.

This afternoon I am feeling sad and don’t know why, I feel life is so damn hard right now.

I am feeling extremely tired this arvo.

Steps:7712=4.5km’s

I slept for 11hrs and 10-mins and was awake for 29-mins during the night. In fact, I was in bed by 6.35 and pretty much fell straight asleep and slept straight through the night.

I am coughing and sneezing a lot this morning and suddenly around 6.45 started to feel really cold. The temp was 15C

By midday it had warmed up to 22C and I had to take my long sleeve singlet.

Steps: 5635=2.98km’s

BGL: 7.0

I slept well, I did wake a couple of times to pee but straight back to sleep. I slept for 6hrs and 59mins and was awake for 24mins during the night.

I started to ride the scooter up to wait with Sam for her transport to arrive but while I was stopped out the front of Jess’s it started to rain so I came back and swapped to the walker. I was waiting for Sam to join me and had my back against the letter boxes, well Sam came up behind me and when she touched my shoulders I screamed. I was recording a text for Sue and had to assure her I was ok due to the screaming.

After I got back it started to piss down raining and rained most of the day.

I mopped the laundry, kitchen and bathroom floors. I also changed the sheets.

Sue went to have her tyre looked at and while she was at the tyre place the road out the front flooded, one small red car was nearly covered in water. To leave she had to drive down the footpath, but she managed it.

Tim rang at 5pm to let me know he will be late due to the traffic. As it turned out he was 30-mins late.

BGL:5.8

I woke feeling sick in the gut, but that improved after I ate. I also woke to rain.

It has rained on and off all day, Sue came and took me to do some shopping. Thankfully it wasn’t raining when I went to meet Sam this arvo.

Sue said the bras I bought her from Temu fitted well and she is happy with them.

Tim has conjunctivitis in one eye, he said he will see if he can see a pharmacist tomorrow and get some drops for it.

Steps: 9,033=5.59km’s

I slept well, 7hrs & 4min and I was awake for 23mins during the night. It is a cold morning had to get a jacket on as well as turn the heater on, thankfully only needed it on for an hour.

It has been fine all day no rain at all.

Tim rang to let me know he will be late.

Week 19 of 2025

Well, we still have the same Prime Minister, Albo got in for a second term.

The weather app said it wouldn’t rain but it has been raining on and off, both Tim and I went down to Coles to get a few things.

I did a load of washing and hung it out on the clothes hoist to dry.

I set up a new email account for Sue.

Tim cooked tea, crumb chicken and some baked veggies with gravy of course.

This evening when it was time to close the back sliding door Tim was complaining about the clothes hoists being in his way and it was very difficult to reach the door, I asked if he would like me to do, he said my bum is bigger than his so how would I be able to do it. I thought by moving things but said nothing.

Steps:9,353=6.5km’s

BGL:6.9

Here we are at the start of another working week, or school week this week Jess is driving Sam to Tafe. It is a cool start to the day but then I have the back sliding door open, did I have trouble opening it, NO I moved a chair then moved the clothes hoists a bit and had no trouble reaching the door to open it.

It has been a warm day, I took the clothes off the line and put them away, I just had a baby corella walked into the house right up to the hallway when I noticed it, I said what are you doing, and it turned and ran out of the house.

Jessica brought over an early Mother’s Day present a pair of knitted slippers they are very warm which is good as my feet often get cold while I am sitting in my armchair.

Steps: 8,574 = around 5km’s

BGL: 7.1

Had another good night my watch tells me I had 8hrs and 43mins of sleep.

No school for Sam today, she has an appointment with her paediatrician after lunch and as Jess has arranged for Sue to drive them, she said she isn’t going to get her to go to the school the to the hospital for the appointment as they are in two opposite directions. She asked Sue to drive them because whenever Jess has driven them, she cannot get anywhere to park, I never had a problem finding a park and Sue says she doesn’t have a problem either.

I was watching telly and had put my head back and closed my eyes for a bit when the postie arrived, she opened the door said she was sorry to disturb me and handed me my mail. Not all posties would do that.

When Sue came to pick up Jess and Sam, I gave her the present I did for her for Mother’s Day and she loved it, she got emotional and cried a little. Told me I didn’t have to do that which I

Sue messaged me and said when they got to the hospital there was nowhere to park so she dropped them off and parked out on the road but after 5 minutes decided to try again and that time, she found a parking spot no problem, so said Jess is right it is her.

Turned out to be a warm day.

Sue and went to the cemetery and the ground had dried out enough for me to be able to walk on.

We then went to Officeworks so I could get postage stamps and have a look around.

We then went to Coles but there was nowhere to park and Sue said screw this, I will go somewhere else, as we are leaving the carpark I realised I forgot to get the stamps, so we then went to the Post Office before coming home.

I was getting my phone out of my bag when I got home and found the two letters I had wanted to send off.

Having a good morning after a good night’s sleep not too cold this morning and it is supposed to only reach 19C today.

Around 11am I went in and out on a pair of pantyhose under my long pants for extra warmth. I am glad I did as Tim keeps leaving the doors opened.

It started to rain around midday, it was raining when I went to meet Sam. She brought home from school 4 books that the library was getting rid of all are about the human body and they are cool. Sam said if I wanted to borrow them to use for blog posts I could, and I will be doing just that.

Had a good night sleep, it’s wet outside, I hope it fines up by 8am when I go up with Sam to wait for his transport. My watch tells me I slept for 8hrs and 42mins and I was awake for 44mins during the night.

Just had a phone call from Sue she has blown a tyre and has to cancel her appointment this morning she is going to be off the road till she can do something about the tyre.

While I was watching telly this afternoon it started to rain, I hope it stops by the time I need to get Sam. Well, it stopped raining, but I forgot to take a blanket for my legs and damn it was cold waiting for Sam.

Steps:8,473=4.68kms or 2.08miles

I went looking for a long sleeve black singlet but the ones in my size were $22 and I wasn’t paying that the cheaper ones didn’t have my size. So I looked at long sleeve black tops and found two for only $10 each but when I went to pay they were on special two for $16 so that was good.

Week 18 of 2025

I slept reasonably well, woke to the sound of rain, it is supposed to rain most of the day.

Tim caught another baby corella and took it into the vet again as it was so cold and looked like a drowned rat

It has rained all day, and it is cold as well and I have pain in both knees due to the pain.

This afternoon he caught another drowned rat corella and hopes it will be able to dry out and warm up now it is inside.

Tim rang our neighbour’s son to find out where would be best to buy a cage, he said he would make us one and will be out on Tuesday to talk to Tim. Turns out he is with Wires and knows a lot about these birds.

I had another pretty good night, woke to the sound of rain again, some rain this morning.

Sam had an issue with Tasha on the way to Tafe she was on her phone, and it was raining so Sam snatched it out of her hand. Now Tasha said she will not drive Sam to Tafe any more till unless Sam apologises to Tasha.

Jess came down and was here for over an hour and we had a nice chat. I rang and asked Sue if she would drive Sam to Tafe if Jess were unable to do it.

It has rained on and off all day, didn’t need to go and check the letterbox as the postie came down to drop off the two books I ordered and brought the letters with her. This may seem the commonsense thing to do but we at times have a man doing the run and he doesn’t do that. I mean he will place the letters in the box and bring down the parcel.

Tim released the bird this morning when he got home from work.

Steps:6,020

I had another pretty good night, woke to no rain which was nice, we are supposed to get showers on and off all day.

Sue rang and said she had a phone call letting her know her hearing aids were in and they could see her at 11am. She is happy with them.

Then we went to the shops so I could get ham and bread. Tim made a comment that I didn’t ring and see if he wanted anything, I bit my tongue and said nothing as he never or very rarely rings and asks if I want anything. Also, when I was leaving, he said he may not be here when I got back.

We are having a wet and cold afternoon after a warm day.

Steps: 9,330

First day of term two for school and of course it is cold and wet and supposed to rain on and off all day again. This means I am going to have to walk up with Sam this morning.

I have both sliding doors open but will shut them soon.

Due to the wet weather, I tossed the clothes into the dryer. I also changed the sheets.

Shopping came at 3.10pm, I was waiting for Sam but managed to stop the truck and let the driver know that sliding door was open and to just put the shopping in the kitchen. Which she did.

Steps:8,322

First day of term two for school and of course it is cold and wet and supposed to rain on and off all day again. This means I am going to have to walk up with Sam this morning.

I only have the back sliding door open, Sam brought down some washing to toss in our dryer, she said that their dryer makes the clothes smell. I will make sure Jess is aware of that and looks into it.

Thankfully at this time we have no rain.

We have had rain on and off all day and this afternoon it is really cold and wet. Also, my body feels really stiff and achy moving isn’t easy as well feeling stiff I am in pain. I am so tired I will be in bed by 7.30 tonight.

Steps: 8,398

Sue and I went to have her eyes checked she needs glasses that have different strength lens for each eye. The cost was $180, I paid for them she should be able to pick them up in two weeks times, the cost to have her eyes checked was nothing. She had put off having them checked as she didn’t think she would be able to afford it.

After that went to Coles for a few things and Sue bought be a small fruit bun from Baker’s Delight, which when I had it contained no fruit. It was like a small round finger bun.

I realised that yesterday I didn’t use the Powerfit, and I wonder if that is part of the reason, I was so stiff and sore yesterday.

Not as much rain today.

Steps: 9,221

ELECTION DAY

Yeah, time to vote in the federal election, I already voted as I do a postal vote, Tim has already voted as he is working all day, but my girls and Blain will need to vote.

I have turned the heater on this morning as I am so damn cold.

The day has warmed up and I have had a good day. I worked on the envelopes for the letters I have to answer by that I mean I applied my address stamp to the back of each envelope and added stickers and a postage stamp and the ones I had to print an address for I added the address to the front of the envelope already to start writing letters tomorrow.

Managed to write 3 blog posts for the coming week. Sent reminder texts to family members reminding them to vote.

Week 17 of 2025

Up and dressed and ready for the day, it is going to be another hot one. It is Easter Sunday and since Dad died on Easter Sunday 2019, this is a sad day for me and my siblings, tomorrow will also be a sad day because it will be the date of his passing.

Sandy called in on her way home from the cemetery as Skylar needed the toilet.

By 1pm I had to turn the air con on as it was 28C, I have a headache this afternoon.

DAD PASSED AWAY THIS DATE 6YR’S AGO

Up and dressed and ready for the day, it is going to be a warm day as in not as hot as yesterday, but we will see.

Tim and I went to visit Kathy and family, after we left home, I realised I didn’t have any medication in my bag, so I didn’t take it till we got home at 11am.

I had to have a nap as my headache was making it hard to concentrate on anything.

I have done bugga all today, I did some blogging, wrote a letter and vacuumed out. I also emptied the bins.

Steps:9,130

Another day is here, I had a restless start to the night but once I settled, I slept through till the alarm went off.

Tim went and voted, he then went and handed in Jess’s lease review. He also went and blood taken before going and getting fresh bread.

After the movie Tim was watching finished at 4pm I had him hang four more photos for me.

At 6.15pm I had a burst of energy and rearranged some photos and did some dusting. I then vacuumed again.

I have been sweating on and off all day.

Steps:9,320

After getting up and having a nice hot shower I am dressed and ready for the day, supposed to be a wet one.

Tim has work this morning, thankfully.

It started out cool but warmed up and I changed into shorts.

Someone came and looked at the path up to Bears door, he said someone he will be here tomorrow to even it out.

Steps:6,120

Another good night’s sleep, Tim had to get up at 3am as he had an early run before his training.

Someone came and evened out the footpath out the front of Bear’s house so he shouldn’t trip on it anymore.

Tim didn’t get home till after 5pm so it was a long day for him.

I managed to write a few more letters.

I am feeling really drained by the end of the day.

Steps: 7,737

Today is Anzac Day

Another good night’s sleep, it is a cool morning and looks like it may rain. I have done a load of washing and hung it out to dry. I changed into shorts but with Tim leaving the doors open I may have to change into longer pants again.

Kathy and Summer came over for a visit after they left Tim caught a sick looking corolla ad took it to the vets but first, he rang Wires, they gave him a code, so he doesn’t have to pay.

Steps:6,590

I slept well, Tim and I went to the shops, I was surprised when Kathy rang this morning as I wasn’t expecting her to as she was here yesterday.

Sue came over to pick the shoes I ordered for her from Temu, I also gave her a pair of leggings she was pleased with them.

It’s been a nice day, had to change into shorts.

Steps:7,197

I slept all night; didn’t wake at all till the alarm went off, Tim has work he should be home around 2.30pm.

Yet again I ordered the wrong ink for my printer, I am so annoyed with myself. When I mentioned it to Tim, he said maybe I shouldn’t order it in future and let him do it, this I think I might do.

Tim received a parcel it contained 2 bottles of lavender talcum powder, which he didn’t order. I really like the powder so it will not go to waste.

It has been another warm day.

Steps: 8,319

I slept all night again, woke once to pee, this morning I woke to the sound of rain, it is supposed to rain on and off all day.

It is a cool day, Tim and Sam went to cash in Sam’s cans. Tim also got rid of all the Coles bags.

It fined up enough for Tim to do a few things out the back or just sit in the sun listening to the radio. He also made a few phone calls to who I don’t know but I don’t need to know.

Tim advertised the printer ink I bought by mistake on Facebook marketplace, so hopefully I will be able to sell it and recover some of my money.

Steps: 6,549

I slept all night again, didn’t wake at all, I am getting use to this sleeping all night.

Sue took me to the doctors so I could have my flu shot, also had a vaccine for pneumonia. As we were getting in the car Sue saw some woman waving at her, it turned out to be Jeannie who is down this way for a doctor’s appointment but was early so decided to swing by my doctor’s surgery to see me and Sue. She gave me a reusable shopping bag that folds up into its own bag that has my name on it. I love it.

Before I left this morning, I told Tim the washing machine only had 20-minutes to go, he said he would hang it out. When I got home, he had forgotten about the laundry, so I had to see to that, also had to vacuum and tidy the kitchen.

Tim wanted to go to the Eastern Tiger for lunch I had him ring first and they said they could fit us in at 1pm, which was later then Tim expected so we didn’t go.

Steps: 7,001

After restless start, had to get up and us the Powerfit for 20 minutes, but after returning to bed I settled fast and sleep through to the alarm.

Tim had to be at work by 4am he finished at 8.30am, he then took the car to the auto-electrician to fit a light bar to the front of the car, but the fella reckoned it was booked in for next Thursday. Tim was able to play him the recorded phone call where he said he would see him this morning at 9am. The guy then said he didn’t know why he said that.

It has rained on and off during the day.

Had a good day even though I had a headache on and off and a runny nose on and off that I put down to my flu shot.

Steps:6,860

Another good night it is a cool morning but should heat up.

Kath rang and asked me if I had her school reports, but I don’t even but I stilled pulled out everything from the dining table seats. I could not find them.

By midday I had changed into shorts due to how warm it is.

Sue received a lovely voice message from Sandy. Also, she had a good talk to Kirsty who was operated on yesterday and although she talked it down it turns out it was a big operation. She had to have the bicep tendon in her arm repaired. She had damaged her shoulder while at work last year.  Sue has told her if she needs her mum to go and help her, she will find the money to get a flight there.

I walked up and checked the mail; my postal vote forms came I will fill them in and send them off over the weekend.

Steps:4,680

Up and showered ready for the day, yes, I had another good night. It is another cool morning but should warm up, we are looking at a 27C day at the moment it is only 12C

Tim and I went to Coles (supermarket) to get a few things after returning home I have been working on the laptop and he is outside working on the yard.

Blain and Ta’lia came down to show us their new tattoos

By lunch time it had reached 27C again, thankfully with both front and back doors open there was a nice cool breeze so no need for air con.

Week 15 of 2025

I had another good night sleeping straight through although I woke with a runny nose and have a headache again. Also, up earlier than normal as the clocks changed and I was awake, only 20-minutes earlier so that’s ok.

The bird Tim was fussing over last night died this morning which is sad.

It is another hot day, and I am having a rough arvo, my left hearing aid keeps falling out which is annoying.

7,129

I slept well in fact at 4am I was getting up as I thought it was 5am, although when I realised my mistake, I got back into bed for another hour.

Tim home for a couple of hours, he got a stern talking to about an accident he had a work a week ago, damaged the bus and something on the street. He still has his job though; he was sure he would get the sack over it.

I have had another bad afternoon with the uncontrollable movement of my body. Did a video and shared it on Facebook so others can see what I have to cope with some days.

I turned the air con on around 1.15pm for a few hours as I was hot and didn’t want to deal with the heat.

Steps: 7,899

I woke up with a headache which is annoying it is a nice cool morning. I used a small, long-life milk to make my porridge this morning.

This morning Sam was picked up by a different driver in a different van, not sure if Joel is off sick or what.

I have felt ok for most of the day did the usual housework.

Sue rang she had a phone call from the hearing aid people who told her my appointment is for 12.30 tomorrow, I don’t know why I would make it for that time I don’t like appointments after midday. Sue managed to change the time till 8.45 instead.

This afternoon I am aching all over and feel extremely tired, I will be in bed by 7.30pm.

Steps:8,692

I woke up tired and my legs will not stop moving making it difficult to stand.

Sue and I went to the hearing aid place, me to have a check I all was good with my hearing aids. Sue had her hearing checked and yes, she needs hearing aids and thankfully she doesn’t need to pay as she is on a pension.

The difficulty with my legs went away by 9am.

After the hearing place we went to Coles so I could get a few things.

By 3pm I was extremely tied again, so tied I found concentrating on stuff almost impossible. I will be having another very early night.

Steps:7,399

I slept all night, and I am doing pretty good this morning, I am going to try and have an hour nap each day from midday to 1pm and see if that helps prevent the extreme tiredness I am feeling of an arvo.

I did have an hour nap, and it did help I am still very tired but not as bad as the last few days.

I did manage to write a few letters today.

The nap has helped I am tried this evening but not so much that I am falling asleep at 6pm.

Steps:6,988

I slept all night, and I am doing pretty good this morning, I had to wait till after Tim left for work to have a shower.

Received a wonderful text message from Sandy last night played it this morning and got all chocked up.

I had to ring Sue this morning as she wasn’t replying to my messages, she phone had restrictions on it as she hadn’t paid her bill yet. She went and spoke to someone about it, telling them she will pay it on the 17th but really needed to be able to receive messages as she was my carer, so they removed the restrictions.

We then went to her doctor’s appointment she has to see someone about her eyes as she needs three health professionals in order to get a care plan.

After that we went to the cemetery, Sue liked what I wrote and left on the headstone. She said I should send a copy of it to the other siblings.

IT’S BEEN 4YRS TODAY SINCE MUM PASSED

I slept all night; I woke at 5.12am wondering where my phone was as it wasn’t next to the bed. I had left t in the lounge-room last night.

Tim and I went over to Lake Fair, I did some shopping while

Tim cashed in some bottles.

It has been a warm day, Tim did some more work in the back

yard and has started thinking about stuff he wants to do out

the front.

Week 14 of 2025

I slept straight through the night again waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

Tim has a long day ahead of him it will around midnight before he gets home.

I slept all night, there is no rain this morning, just nice and cool at the moment. The temp is 20C with a top of 22C expected.

It turned out to be a warm day, I went and did some shopping at Woolies, cost me $62.

We have had showers on and off all day.

Tim wet up my new smart watch so we will see how that compares with the pedometer I wear on my waist band.

Steps:9,105 pedometer over 13hrs

 3,877 watch over 4hrs

I slept straight through the night again waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

Had to wake Jess to wake Sam whose phone was going straight to voicemail.

Around 2pm Sam rang to see if I could get Sue to pick her up from Charlestown and bring her home, so I did, and she did after some rigmarole trying to explain where she would be picked up from.

It turned out to be a warm day. I am wearing the new smart watch Tim bought me, it counts my steps better less guessing on my part.

DAWSON’S BIRTHDAY HE IS 26 TODAY

I slept straight through the night again waking only when the alarm went off at 5am.

Tim said he has been awake since either 1am or 3am I don’t remember what he said.

Sue took me to the podiatrist; all is good with my feet. Sue asked her opinion about Sue’s ingrown toenail on her big toe. She was so concerned that when telling Sue cost to have it removed would be $100 and Sue said she didn’t have the money right now so it would have to wait. She said she would do it for a reduced fee while Sue was there. She ended up treating both big toes for only $20.

I told Sue needs to see her GP about getting a care plan, so she doesn’t have to pay to see the podiatrist. Sue made an appointment for Friday 11 at 9am.

Steps:8,088

I slept straight through the night again waking only once to pee. I am very restless this morning.

I went with Sue while she had her mammogram, on our way home we called in and saw Dave at work.

I wore the new dress I got from Millers that I didn’t order or pay for, it looked nice on.

I am having a bad with my body moving so much, by 4pm I was so exhausted and worn out.

Didn’t do much today

Steps:5,845

I slept straight through the night again waking only once to pee. I am having a better morning then yesterday.

My left arm is very sore this morning I should have got Tim to help me put the shoulder brace on.

I have had a better day then yesterday haven’t done much as my motivation is here and there.

It got as high as 27C, and I had to change into shorts.

Steps: 7,673

I had another good night sleeping straight through although I have woken with a headache, I did remember to get Tim to put my shoulder brace on before he left for work.

It has been another warm day, thankfully I have been good with my body shaking very little till around 1pm when it increased.

I was having a water ice block when it went down wrong causing me to have a bad coughing fit, how annoying.

Steps:6,529

I had another good night sleeping straight through although I woke with a runny nose and have a headache.

I had a nice hot shower.

It has been another warm day; Tim is off this weekend. Temp reached 27C but didn’t turn the air con on.

This evening Tim has had too much to drink and is annoying a baby bird, he keeps picking it up and it has been squawking in distress and I keep telling him to leave it alone. If he was sober, he wouldn’t be doing it.
