WEEK 24 OF 2026

Had a good sleep, slept for a bit over 8hrs, had a nice shower when I got up, I don’t shower every day because I don’t go out a lot, nor do I get dirty or even hot and sweaty so don’t see the point in a daily shower. If I don’t shower, I do have a good wash first thing in the morning.

Tim got a phone call asking if he could work today, he started at 11.30am and will finish at midnight.

It is now 9pm and I have had 3hrs of sleep, around 5.30pm I started to feel not with it as in extremely tired and unwell. So, I had Tasha come and help me get ready for bed and while I was getting changed, I decided to just go to bed. I must have fallen asleep very fast as the next thing I knew I had to pee and realised it was 8.55pm. I will stay up for an hour or so before going back to bed.

Steps: 4,502 = 3k’s

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

After I went back to bed I slept well till 4.40am when I got up and I feel good this morning. It is a cold 10c or 50f and I have the heater on but will turn it off soonish.

I have had a good morning, went for a walk and did the housework.

Tim didn’t get up till around 9am, thankfully it is a public holiday here so no work for Tim.

Dave has finally had his surgery so now he just needs to recover.

Steps: 4,962 = 2.5k’s

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I slept well and got up at 4.40am, I had around 7hrs of sleep, it is 10c or 50f at 5.30am.

I was late going for a walk so only walked around the driveway as I don’t like walking on the road after 8am due to the amount of traffic. I also don’t like using the walker on wet grass.

Dave has at long last had his surgery and all went well, Sue and I may go and see him on Friday.

I stripped the bed and remade it with warmer sheets. I managed it but it wasn’t easy and left me exhausted.

Steps: 7,697 = 3.9k’s or 2.5miles

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Had a good night, I was up at 4.20am and had a shower straight after getting up. The temp this morning was 14c according to my phone, or 13c according to my watch and the laptop said 10c, this is normal and when I write the temp each morning, I pick a number like today I would normally say 12c.

It is a warmish day, I had two naps during the day, I did the usual housework as well as mopping the kitchen floor.

After that I sat in a darkish room and closed my eyes for 25 minutes.

Dave is doing ok, but not up for visitors yet which I get I have long thought when someone is in hospital really unwell people coming to see them may feel draining, especially if all one wants to do is sleep.

After lunch I decided I needed another nap this time I slept for 55 minutes and felt good afterwards.

Steps: 8,258 = 4.1kgs or 2.5 miles.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I had a so-so sleep got around 6 & ½ hours, woke at 4.20am and got up at 5am the temp is 14c or 57f, it is wet outside but not raining.

I had trouble trying to dress ready to go shopping, I couldn’t put my pants on and just sat on the side on the bed staring at nothing till I thought to put my Beechband on.

After I did that, my mind became focus enough to ring Tasha for help, she came and helped.

Sue and I went shopping, no issues but as we were leaving the centre my feet started to feel heavy and I was glad   to get home and take my shoes off.

Steps: 9,399 = 4.7k’s or 2.8 miles

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Had a decent night, up at 4.20am washed and dressed, the temp at 5am is 14c or 57f, I managed to get 6 & ½ hours of sleep.

Sue and I have Dr appointments for our care plan reviews this morning. All went well spoke to the doc about the popping sensation and pain on the left side of my neck at the base of the skull.

Dave is being discharged today.

By 4pm I was so tired I had to close my eyes for 30 minutes.

I told Tasha not bother coming down tonight as I am fine and it’s cold and wet outside.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I slept well but was awake and up at 4am after having nearly 8hrs of sleep. It is 12c or 53f at 5am, one thing I like about getting up that early is having how quiet and still the morning feels.

Sue locked herself out of her flat this morning and had to ring Sandy who was still asleep and get her to take the spare key over and let Sue into the flat, it was 9.30am.

Sue and I went to Kmart so she could get a new lighter vacuum then we went to see Dave. He doesn’t look good, he was sleeping on the lounge, and I thought he looks old and sick. Both Sue and I thought the same thing.

Tim is at work today and won’t be home till around 1am.

Steps: 9,846 = 5k’s or 3 miles

Beechband

Today I am writing about the Beechbandwhat is it you may wonder well it is a device to help control the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.

The Beechband works by delivering steady, rhythmic vibration pulses on your wrist to help calm and regulate movement, speech, and anxiety symptoms—especially for people with Parkinson’s.

It’s essentially a wearable version of a therapeutic tapping technique that its creator originally used manually.

It produces rhythmic pulsing vibrations (around 85 beats per minute in many cases). These pulses mimic a metronome‑like tapping that can help the brain stabilise movement patterns and reduce anxiety.

For some people, the effect is immediate, while for others it builds gradually over several weeks.

It can help with the following symptoms anxiety and stress, dyskinesia, rigidity, freezing of gait and other walking problems, speech difficulties, sleep issues and tremor of course.

However not everyone experiences the same benefits—some feel a big change, others only subtle effects, and some none at all.

You wear it on your wrist (or try switching wrists or even the ankle if results vary). Turn, it on and ignore it—most people stop noticing the vibration after 15–30 minutes.

It is recommended to use it daily for at least 6 weeks to judge whether it helps. Friends or family often notice improvements before the wearer does.

The vibration can be loud for some people; the battery life is often short around 3–4 hours.

Some users report major improvements in gait and freezing; others report no change.

The Beechband is a non‑medical wearable that uses steady vibration cues to help regulate movement and reduce anxiety. It doesn’t treat Parkinson’s itself, but for some people it provides meaningful day‑to‑day relief.

I have this device and it works great for me it calms my body, stops the internal tremor and helps clear my mind allowing me to focus and connect.

Week 19 of 2026

I slept straight through the night not waking till the alarm went off at 5am and I am feeling good this morning. I was having my wash when I heard the kettle going and wondered why Tim was up so early, he said he couldn’t sleep.

It is 16c or 61f this morning, it is going to be a warm day with a top of 28c or 82.4f.

I had a good 7&half hours of sleep

I managed to vacuum, sweep and do a load of washing as well as hang it on the clothes hoist to dry and take the hoists outside. I also went for my walk the normal walk I do, this morning without fear of falling.

I have a lot of lower back pain this afternoon.

Steps: 7,481 = 3.7k’s or 2.2miles

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Had another good night slept getting 9hrs of sleep before waking up 10 minutes before the alarm. It is 5.30am and 16c or 61f we are heading for a top of 28 again. I have woken with lower back pain again. I applied Deep Heat and it helped also applied a heat patch

I went for my morning walk.

I asked Sandy if she was in the area could she come and take my shower curtain down so I can wash it, she did. It is now soaking in wash booster.

Steps: 4,999 = 2.6 or 1.6miles

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I was up at 4am but I was in bed by 7pm last night and had a good 9hrs of sleep, at 4.30am it was 15c or 59f only supposed to reach 21c today.

I noticed it had been raining during the night and when it became near the time I like to go for a walk it was still wet, so I decided to wait. When I did go, I walked down and posted letters I had written.

The air fryer/oven I bought Jess as a housewarming gift arrived today.

Steps: 5,960 = 3k’s or 1.8miles

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

What a pissy night, from 1am I was up and down to the loo like a damn yo yo, at 3am I got up for half an hour as I felt restless, when I went back to bed I slept for an hour before getting up to start my day.

Had the doc appointment, got referral for MRI emailed it to Hunter Imagine and they will contact me.

I had to have a nap at 11.15am I slept till 11.50am. I woke up to a messy kitchen. Tim said he would clean it up, but I did it.

Around 2pm I started to feel unwell, headache, tired, upset tummy. Oh well tomorrow’s another day and hopefully I will feel better then.

Steps: 5,212=2.6k’s or 1.6miles

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

I was in bed by 7pm last night went straight to sleep but woke at 8.30pm went to the loo and decided to stay up for a big that turned into an hour, after returning to bed I slept through to 5am. The temp at 5.30am was 11c or 52f.

I did a load of washing and hung them on the clothes hoists and took them outside.

I had a nap at 11am for an hour then I had lunch, around 1.30pm I brought the clothes hoists in as it is windy.

I have felt cold on and off all day.

I have sent Tash a text saying I need to go to bed and could she help, even though it is only 5.30pm I am struggling to stay awake and feel sick.

Steps: 5523=2.8k’s or 0.5miles

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Good morning and hello Friday, I woke at 4.10 to pee and went back to bed till 4.30 when I got up. At that time, it was 9c or 48f. I had a good 9hrs of sleep and I feel ok now.

I went for a walk and posted the letters and then I swept up all the leaves out the front and vacuumed out.

It is really cold here for me I had to turn the heater on as the cold room gave me a headache.

This afternoon after my nap I didn’t feel as cold but around 5.30pm I got a headache.

Flu shot at 8.50

MRI at 13.20 be there at 12.50

Good morning and hello Saturday I was up at 4.30am and had a shower it was 10c or 50f. I found the kitchen in a mess cleaned it up and had breakie.

It feels crisp outside; I’m waiting for my body to settle enough to go for a walk.

Tim and I went to Medowie to check out a camper van. I couldn’t get into it as it was too high.

This afternoon Tim is attempting to put the table Jessica bought together, he said it is going to take hours.

He is also in a damn awful mood going on about no one helps him, although when he said something about needing help with the table, she said she would come down tomorrow and help, this went over his head because being in a mood feels better, I guess.  I am so over his damn mood.

Steps: 4,356=2.2k’s or 1.3miles

Week 18 of 2026

I had an early start woke at 3.45am to pee couldn’t settle again so got up at 4am, the first thing I did was have a shower. I had a good 9hrs of sleep.

Then I had to clean the kitchen and start the laundry before unpacking the dishwasher and making myself a milk shake.

After hanging the washing out, I went for my daily walk it has been a warm day.

This afternoon I was folding the clothes up and felt extremely exhausted and Tim asked me what was wrong I told him I was exhausted and he said how about I do the yard work, and he does the housework, I replied how about you have Parkinson’s and I don’t. He said what’s that got to do with it, every bloody thing that’s what.

Here I am on Monday morning been up since 4.20am had a good 9hrs of sleep again it is now 5.45am and the temp is 13c or 55f.

I have had a busy morning sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, changed the bed sheets.

Tim hung the washing on the outside clothesline. He is off today as it is a public holiday.

It warmed up to 23c or 73f.

Steps: 8,937 = 4.5k’s of 2.7 miles

I had a so-so night, I was up and out of bed by 3.30am due to being in so much pain, the pain is on the left side of my neck and my right hip as well as my back from the middle down. I still feel a bit tired, but I am doing ok I am functioning. I had around 6hrs of sleep.

It is 11c or 52f at 4am and it is supposed to warm up to 22c.

Sue said she things I should see the doctor to make sure all is ok since I have been in pain and have limited movement in my neck since I fell over on the cruise. So I now have an appointment tomorrow.

I had an hour a nap after lunch, but by 6.30pm I was falling asleep in my armchair so off to bed I go.

Steps: 8,226 = 4k’s or 2.4miles

I had a good night slept through to 4am when I got up to pee felt awake and decided to stay up. I had around 9hrs of sleep. The temp at 5am is 13c or 55f.

I have made a doctor’s appointment for 11.24am, seen the doc he wants me to get an Xray done of my neck just to be sure all is good.

Sandy said I might have a slipped disc I hope she is wrong.

Sandy rang to tell me she can no longer deal with Landon’s violent nature so has informed DCJ of that and he is being returned to his mum. Sandy has done the best she could and did make some progress but her own daughter is not in a good place mentally and she wants to focus on her needs. She will let Landon know she is only a phone call away if he needs to talk to someone.

Michelle has gone on and on about wanting her kids back and now that she is getting Landon back, she doesn’t really want him because he will interrupt her life.

Steps: 9,809 = 5k’s or 3miles

Another early start to the day and I was up later last night it was 8pm when I went to bed. I slept well till 3am when I got up to pee but found it hard to settle again, so at 4am I got up and had my shower.

I am feeling good this morning no morning walk because I am going shopping with Sue.

I have had a good day I washed the ramp outside after sweeping it and I vacuumed and washed the towels all before Sue picked me up.

Steps: 10,353 = 5k’s 3miles

A good night managed 7hrs of sleep was up at 4.30, washed, dressed and ready for the day, first task of the day unpack the dishwasher and clean the kitchen.

Tim doesn’t sound good this morning he sounds like he has a cold.

I went and had my Xray done but after I got home, I had a phone call from the doctor’s surgery letting me know I now need a CT scan done today.

So, I have had the CT scan done and it turns out I have a small break in a bone in my neck. I am now waiting to hear from my GP as to what he wants to do next.

The GP sent me to the emergency room where I am going now, and I expect to be there till sometime late tonight.

Steps: 8,498 = 4.3k’s or 2.6 miles

I slept well after finally getting home at around 10.50pm, I spoke to Tim for a bit then went to bed.

I had around 6hrs of sleep, I was up at 6.15.

So it seems I have a stable C4 teardrop fracture in my neck, I have to see my GP and get referred for an MRI.

There were many phone calls to Sue during the time at the hospital, a good reminder of how much my; family love me.

Yes, I am worried about falling over again. I cannot let my fear of falling over again to stop me walking each day.

Steps: 5,751

Glaucoma

Today I am writing about glaucoma, I always thought it to be a single disease concerning the eye; however, my research says it is a group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve, usually because of increased pressure inside the eye.

It’s one of the leading causes of irreversible blindness worldwide but with early detection and treatment, most people keep their vision.

The optic nerve is like a high‑speed cable carrying visual information from your eye to your brain. When pressure inside the eye rises (or when the nerve is unusually fragile), those nerve fibres slowly die. Once they’re gone, they cannot be repaired.

Your eyes are filled with fluid that constantly flows in and out of your eyes, bringing nutrients to your eyes.

If the fluid doesn’t leave your eye as easily as it enters, pressure can build up inside the eye.

The increase in eye pressure can damage your optic nerve. Your optic nerve links the back of your eye to your brain and allows you to see. Damage to your optic nerve results in damage to your vision.

Glaucoma can sometimes occur even when the fluid pressure in your eye is normal.

Most glaucoma develops silently over years, which is why it’s often called the “silent thief of sight.”

There are 2 main types of glaucoma.

Open-angle — where fluid pressure builds up in the front part of your eye, even when the fluid drainage pathways are open.

Closed-angle (or angle-closure) — where the eye’s fluid drainage pathways are narrowed or closed, so fluid pressure builds up quickly. This may cause pain in the eye and sudden loss of vision.

It can also be categorised as either, primary glaucoma, with an unknown cause or secondary glaucoma, caused by an eye condition, such as surgery, trauma, drugs or eye disease

Primary open-angle glaucoma is the most common form of glaucoma in Australia.

Usually, the deterioration in vision is very gradual and not noticeable. From the age of 40 regular eye examinations.

Once found, glaucoma can be treated to prevent or delay further vision loss.

You are at higher risk of developing glaucoma if you:

have a close relative with glaucoma

have high eye pressure

are aged over 50 years

are either short or long sighted

use (or have used) cortisone (steroid) medicines for long periods

have diabetes or either high or low blood pressure

get migraine headaches

have had an eye operation or eye injury

If you have chronic angle-closure glaucoma you sometimes get vision problems. This may be halo-like images around lights or you may have no symptoms.

If you have acute angle-closure glaucoma you may get:

sudden, severe eye pain

nausea and vomiting

headache

watery eyes

blurred vision

halos around bright lights

Since acute angle-closure glaucoma is an emergency, you should seek treatment straight away so you don’t lose vision. You need urgent treatment if:

one or both of your eyes quickly becomes painful and red

your vision gets blurred

you notice halos (rings) around lights

Treatment for chronic angle-closure glaucoma is designed to prevent or slow further damage, mainly by reducing the pressure in the eye. This may involve, eye drops, oral medicine or laser surgery or other surgery to open or create a new drainage channel. The surgery is usually an outpatient or day-surgery procedure.

Nerve cells damaged by glaucoma can’t be repaired.

Steps: 7,882 = 4k’s or 2.6 miles

Another good night, no change that it was a great night, and I have woken up feeling awesome.

I have done the housework and I’m now waiting for Sue we are going shopping.

By the time I got home I was exhausted as per usual.

I spent some time sorting out the granddaughter’s money boxes, I bought new much larger tins for Sydney & Summer. Tim said it would take years   to fill them, I said that’s fine not planning to give them to the girls for another 4 or 5 years.

Steps: 8,086=k’s or 2.5miles

Week 10 of 2026

Here we are at the start of March and Autumn; I slept well getting just under 7hrs. It is a wet morning I hope it doesn’t rain all day.

Did the usual housework and cleaned off Tim’s bed side table and packed away the Cpap machine I knew he wouldn’t use.

It has been a cool dry day, saw Blain when he came to see his mum, looks like he may be moving home while they look for somewhere else to live.

This afternoon has been lovely and warm.

Steps:6,637=3.3k’s or 2 miles

Good morning, all, I slept well till 3.20am after that I was in pain and hot and tossing and turning till 4.20am when I had enough and got up.

My BGL was 5.5 and the temp at 4.30am was 22c or 71f. At 11am it was 27c or 80f.

Tasha came down and asked if they could store some of Blain’s stuff here as she doesn’t have enough room at her             place.

By 2pm it was 30c or 86f and I had to turn the air con on. Thankfully I only need it on for an hour.

Steps: 7,028 = 3.5k’s or 2.1 miles

Good morning anyone reading this, I have been up since 4am but I was in bed early last night and had a good 9hrs &30minutes of sleep.

My BGL was 5.5 and it was 21c or 69f, by 6am it started raining, also had T (Blain’s gf) come down looking for milk which I gave her.

What a morning Tasha had a skip bin delivered this morning and when he got home from work Tim started taking stuff up and tossing it into the bin, in helped by placing items on the walker and taking them to the bin. I decided to remove items allowing me to get out an old cupboard I then opened the front wooden door.

The mess behind the cupboard and door was awful so I cleaned that up it all took over an hour to do it. I cleaned the front of the wooden door but as I am short, I couldn’t reach the top of the door, I will see if Sam will come and finish it for me.

It is 5pm and I am feeling really unwell, I am very tired and really just not with it.

No steps as my watch died, it will not charge.

Been up since 4.10am, I am feeling much better this morning, I had a around 7.5hrs of sleep. My BGL was 5.8 and it is currently 22c or 70f.

Jess came over when she got home and asked if I could wash her work shirts as she has OT for the next two nights.

At midday I had to turn the air con as    it was 30c or 86f.

By 4pm I was ratshit and felt like crap due to tiredness I am now going to bed and it is only 6.30pm

Another early start and damn my body is moving a lot this morning and my let knee is crackling.

Tim has called in sick for work he hopes he will be ok by lunch time to do his arvo shift.

I went shopping with Sue and in was ratshit all morning, I left the house wearing a long skirt and shoes and I had to remove the skirt yes, I had shorts on under it and also took my shoes off.

I had an hour-long nap between 12 & 1pm, also Dawson came over for a visit he was here are 45 minutes.

Tim isn’t working at all today even though he started feeling ok by 10am.

This afternoon I wasn’t the best but I ate something and started to feel much better.

Steps:5,509= 3.7k’s

Up far to early for my liking 4.10am as I wasn’t able to get comfortable in bed with my left arm hurting and my right hip hurting.

It is 21c or 70f, but we are looking at a top temp of 30c. I got around 6hrs of sleep and my BGL was 6.6.

Went shopping with Sue after her doctor’s appointment, I was not the best, I think it was due to the heat and my swollen feet.

I had a one-hour nap and have been great for the rest of the day.

I emptied the money boxes I have been putting money in since 2021 which I will use as spending money on our cruise next month.  Total amount $300.

Good morning, another damn early start I was up at 4.15 and had a shower before starting my day. It is 21c or 69f my BGL is 6.6 and I had around 7hrs of sleep.

I went back to bed at 7am for an hour, I feel ok after that nap. At 9.45am I was watching TV and started to fall asleep and my back was aching. Then my hearing aid battery died so got up and changed seats.

After having another nap between 11 & 12 I am feeling great.

Tim is working tonight.

A late night for me it has just gone 9pm and I’m to bed, fingers crossed I sleep better.

Week 4 of 2026

I slept well, managed 7hrs of sleep, woke at 4.50am at 5.30 after Tim left for work I had a shower and shave before getting breakfast. My BGL was 6.4 the temp was 19c or 66f and it is raining.

It is now midday and it’s still raining the temp is 20c of 68f. Tim got home around 11.30am.

It stopped raining around 2pm so around 4pm Tim was able to go out the back and do whatever.

Steps:6,521 = 3.3k’s or 1.9miles

Had a good 7hrs sleep with some really strange dreams that mum and dad were part of mum was with me shopping and dad was at the doctors with a bleeding hand.

It is another wet day, and we are off to my appointment with Dr Babu my neurologist in Sydney a 2hr drive from here.

My appointment went well; she has increased the Sifrol to double it is now and has degreased the Madopar I take for tablets a day two of them have been degreased in strength to see if that helps with the dyskinesia.

We arrived home around 3pm

Steps: 6,663 = 3.3k’s or 2 miles

I am up way earlier then I would like to be but from 2.30am I was restless and unable to find a comfortable position to lay in so at 4.20am I got up and started my day. I may need a nap during the day we will see.

The temp this morning was 17c or 62.6f so somewhat nippy. My BGL was 6.6 so a bit high.

By 5am I had cleaned the kitchen, emptied the dishwasher, swept the kitchen floor and vacuumed the lounge and hallway, emptied the bins and had a wash and moisturised my body and of course got dressed for the day.

I tossed then towels into wash but after a while the machine made a noise and when I went to check the error code it was unable to drain. When Tim got up, he spent a couple of hours checking the drainage hose which was ok not blocked now when he gets home from work, he is going to take the pump filter out and check it.

I have asked Tasha to take the towels to hers and wash them for me she still hasn’t done it at 2pm. So, I asked Jess and Sam came down and took them back to her house to wash them for me.

Tim arrived home around 5pm and hour later than expected.

Steps: 5,446 = 2.7k’s or 1.6 miles

Another early start I got up at 4.20am due to a bad headache and feeling unwell. I had a good 8hrs of sleep.

At 5am my BGL was 6.5 and the temp a cool 17c or 62f, I have taken my morning meds and hopefully the headache will ease soon, I am having my morning egg flip which is helping with the unwell feeling.

I am going with Sue while she gets and Xray on her knee and then we will go to the post office as I need stamps and want to see about the concession stamps now that I am on a pension again.

Got the stamps no problem, went to Coles and then Sue went to pick up the scripts while I waited on a seat outside Coles, only to have Sue ring and say there was a problem she was being told that I owed $121 instead of $15. I went down brought up the app where it showed I’d paid, they then said it was ok all sorted.

Tasha was supposed to help go to bed only to be helping damn Benny again.

Steps: 6,153 = 3.11k’s or 1.9 miles

Had a good night sleep getting over 10hrs of sleep, I was up at 4.30am and had a shower and cleaned the kitchen before my 5am alarm went off.

I am going shopping with Sue and looking forward to it as per usual.

It is going to be another hot day. I am feeling so tired by midday.

Tim cooked lunch crumb chicken with baked spuds and carrots and peas, with cheesecake for dessert.

This afternoon Jess came over to get something, and Tim asked her if she was talking to him and she said no and left. This was the start of an argument between me and Tim as he acted like he didn’t understand why she would be like that. I told him she is supporting her child and doesn’t like the way he is treating Sam. This went on for 2hrs, at one point I said he was acting like he didn’t trust me and he said he didn’t, that hurt when I asked why he avoided the question and starter going on about Sam is Leo and Leo is a boy.

So, all in all a distressing afternoon.

Steps:8,026 = 4k’s or 2.2 miles

I had a rough night; I slept well till 1.30am after that I had trouble settling tossing and turning finding it difficult to lay on my left side due to the pain in my shoulder. I managed to get some sleep laying on my back but after a while that also started to hurt. I ended up coming out to the lounge room and sleeping for a bit in my armchair. All in all, I got around 6hrs of sleep.

This morning my BGL was 7.1 and it was 19c or 66f.

I was surprised to see Sue turn up she just came to check on me.

Steps: 7,750 = 3.9k’s or 2.2 miles

I slept well last night getting 7hrs of sleep my BGL was 5.9 the temp this morning is 17c or 62f.

This morning Tim and I went to Aldi as they had advertised office chairs for $60 but of course, they had none in stock. So, I spent some time looking online for one but then my internet started playing up so I got the shits and packed it in.

After going to Aldi Tim wanted to go to his favourite butcher which we did, and he got the meat he wanted.

It has been another hot day with a temp of 30c or 86f in my house without the air con going.

Around 6pm Jessica came down and showed me some clips she found funny and reminded her of me, it was funny.

It was then I was informed that her and Tim had a long talk and things are much better between them.

Tasha arrived at 7.15pm to help me get ready for bed.

Week 48 of 2025

Good morning, all, I hope all is well with everyone.

Sunday has arrived after good night’s sleep for me with 9hrs & 23 minutes, the app says I was awake for 41 minutes during the night. This may be due to Tim waking me at midnight saying he didn’t have his restless legs medication and had me get out of bed to look for it, turns out he doesn’t have any. I checked the chemist app and that says there is no script on file, he is going to go and speak to them at 9am when they open.

My BGL this morning was 7.1 and the temp at 6am was 19C or 66F.

It started raining around 8.30am and the temp was 21C or 69F but it didn’t last long. It turned out to be a nice warm day. We had a top temp of 25C or 77F.

Everything I tried to eat today ended up a mess, I had a caramel tart and got it all over my hands, then when I had lunch, I got mayo all over my hands. Then I had some yogurt and got that also all over my hands.

Steps: 9,960 = 5klm’s or 3mile

Sue drove Sam and Jess to Sam’s doctor’s appointment as Jess didn’t want to wor4ry about finding a parking spot.

By midday it was 31C or 87F so I turned the air con on.

This afternoon Tasha and Blain came over to see me, which I liked, later Sam and Bailey came over. Then just after they left things went bad. I saw Jess coming over and she was crying their pet bunny called Opei died, Sam had just found him dead they had him for a long time as in like 10yrs.

Oddly Jess’s next door neighbour’s pet dog had died also around the same time.

I have arranged with Blain to take the Christmas gifts I have for my niece Kelli and her children to his dad’s place so they can be passed on at Christmas time.

Steps: 10,859 = 5.5klm’s or 3.5 miles

While having breakie I knocked the plate of the table breaking it and spilling my scones on the floor, which I picked up and fed to the birds.

I got a phone call from Tim about the information we need from Youi for my DSP claim with Centrelink, he received an email with information and after a lot of hassle I have managed to find what I think we need and will scan them into my computer and upload to the claim.

It is now 9am and it is 30C or 86F, I have turned the air con on and shut the house up to keep the heat out.

Tasha came and wrapped the presents for Kelli and her kids.

At 3pm it was 32C or 89.6F

It reached a top of 33C or 91.4F today I didn’t do much after returning home from shopping, read some blog posts, sorted out my mail and wrote todays    blog post.

Steps: 7, 994 = 4klm’s or 2.4 miles

I am up and running make that walking from 4.30am, I woke to pee and since I was awake decided to just stay up. I have cleaned the kitchen and will make breakie after Tim leaves, I will also need to vacuum after he leaves. I am waiting for him to get up before I go and get dressed.

It is 18C or 64.4F at 5am and we are headed for a top of 30C or 86F, so another hot day.

I had to use the walker when I emptied the recycle boxes into the outside bin.

I had the air con on for 3hrs but turned it off at 1.30pm as even though it was 28C or 82F there was a nice breeze outside and with the doors open and the fans going it was ok.

Saw Blain again he came down twice once just to say hi the second time to get me to print up his resume.

Steps:5,502 = 2.6klm’s or 1.6miles

I slept straight through the night waking when the alarm went off, I was getting dressed in the bathroom and decided I needed to wash my hair, so I   had a shower.

It is 19C or 66F at 6am and we are looking at a top temp of 31C again. At the moment it is nice with the doors open.
