30 Years

It is 30 years ago today that I met the love of my life Tim, it was around 6pm in my parents lounge room yeah you read that right I met him in my parents lounge room why because we met via an introduction agency or if you prefer a dating agency.

On our first date we went out to Pizza Hut for tea then into town to Fanny’s which was a night club, when we ordered the pizza we found it hard to eat the whole pizza as we both were so nervous……………….I remember when he dropped me at home he didn’t kiss me goodnight and I was left wondering if I would see him again and knowing I wanted to see him again, thankfully he rang me the next day.

It was around 3 months later he told me he had invited people to our engagement party which he thought we would have in November at the same time as my 21^st. Yeah he didn’t ask me to marry him he just told me he had gone an invited a few mates to our engagement party, he was lucky I wanted to marry him……………………lol

Anyway today we both remembered our anniversary and I gave him a card with a $50 gift card and he gave me the gift card back and a hug and told me to go and buy myself something, and that next weekend we will go out for lunch. We couldn’t go out today as he had to go to work this afternoon and he also worked last night and didn’t get home till 4am and didn’t want to get out of bed till 1pm and then he left for work again around 3.30pm.

I can honestly say I am still in love with him and hope we are together for many more years to come.
